JenEcho[TK]
The best dog I’ve ever owned was called Echo. (and I’m Jenny). JenEcho is our kennel name (registered with the Canadian Kennel Club) and it pays homage to my beautiful girl who is long gone from this reality, but who lives forever in my heart.
Mar2D2
As a Star wars fan, my favourite droid is R2D2. Put that with the first three letters of my first name Martyn. MAR2D2. I also thought is was a clever play on star wars themed names.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
It’s based on a song by The Police, though it was actually a Goldfinger cover I was listening to at the time. The Police came to me later.

Dielotski
First person shooters. I died a lot. I'm not sure why I added ski at the end, but it sounded good at the time and, so far, is unique.
Hesikaya[TK]
When I was a kid my uncle would tease me and tell me that my mother, despite not being a terribly religious woman had seriously considered naming me Hesikaya. After many years I asked her about it. Turned out he was right!? Fast forward to the day of the internet and i'm trying to create a cool screen name to use. Every dang one I picked was already taken. So for a good laugh I said to myself I'll bet this one isn't and plugged it in. Lo and behold it wasn't. I've been using it ever since. And most of the time it's available.
MaskedVengeance[Staff]
Back in 2009 or 2010 I got into playing the Battlefield series games online, and wanted a new screen name which wasn’t related to my previous Lord of the Rings obsession. At that time my go-to name had been “darkelf,” but I wanted something less fantasy-like for my WWII and modern warfare gaming.I decided on a variation of my last name (Mask), and thus became known as “MaskedVengeance.” Fast forward to a decade later in 2019 and I figured the same name, though a bit lengthy, would work for Legion purposes. From time to time I may also refer to myself as “MV” for short. Or you can call me Caleb. =)
TheRascalKing[TK]
Was delightfully mischievous in my youth and was called a rascal (at best) often, so I kinda just owned it and it became a nickname. When this song came out, it cemented that as my username on pretty much everything since I started using computers.

Gunner27[TK]
Mine is rather easy.... I spent almost 25 years as an Artilleryman in the Royal Canadian Artillery, hence Gunner. As we always say once a Gunner....always a Gunner! The 27 was one of the call signs I had as the Battery Seageant-Major. So Gunner27 My TKID is 71418, If you take the seventh, fouteenth and eighteenth letters of the alphabet you get GNR, which is the abbreviation for Gunner.
MaDDN3ssX6[TK]
MaDDN3ss was an online gaming tag that was given to me by teammates as I was a bit "aggressive" in battles. The X6 was added later as that is what I drive.
JZYL
Mine is my initials....ish Jessica Lee is way way waaaaaay too common (which is great, I'm practically unGoogleable - there's a figure skater, professional violinist, British politician, playboy bunny, actress, and many others), I sometimes stick my Chinese name in the middle to differentiate. I go back and forth between Tongyong or Hanyu Romanization standards to spell it. Just happened to use Hanyu Pinyin for here. On an amusing note, I sometimes use a deliberate bad translation of my Chinese name in some forums. I have a plan for getting a Mandalorian name whenever I finish my Mando armor. I will find the most Whitest peeps in the clan, tell them my Chinese name, and then have them attempt to say it or spell it. It's going to be great/hilarious, especially considering that the zh (hanyu) ch (tongyong) sound does not exist in English.
Firedog[TK]
Mine is from my years in the fire service. As a rookie, I had to don the “Sparky” costume on many an occasion for community events, school events, parades, etc. I guess this was my first experience costuming...lol. The kids always loved seeing Sparky. One day, while trying to come up with a name on another board many moons ago, I chose Firedog. It’s followed me around ever since.

RSmith6322
New guy here. Joined at TKSpartan's invitation. Nothing fancy about mine. First initial, last name and house number. Decided to forgo any of the call signs I have used or nicknames earned in the the military. I mean how do you explain to people you've just met how you got the name Azrael? MomoSS
My username MomoSS is actually short for MomoSuperSpeed. It was the name of a character I made in an old game called Toontown. Funny thing about that game is that you dont just type in your name, you have to pick 3 words to create your username in that game, and MomoSuperSpeed just stuck. Dont know why...perhaps it was fate. Over the years I've just shortened the name to MomoSS with the SuperSpeed part being reduced to just capital SS and nowadays people just call me Momo, even in person. I keep the SS though because Momo is a name usually taken when signing up for things. Edited September 5, 2020 by MomoSS
Blaster68[TK]
My nickname is Blaster and this how I got it. At Toronto Comic Con 2019 (Fan Expo's March show), Dan Fogler was one of the guest. It was arrange the he would come to our booth so we provided an escort: 2 or 3 Stormtroopers, Vader, couple of Officers and 3 handlers. Upon arriving at our booth he started to do his shtick; jumping onto Jabba's throne, sticking DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle into Jabba's mouth. Then shouting out "force hold" a blaster would be handed to him where he would say "pew-pew" then toss it aside, he did it a couple of times. He then turns to me and "force hold", I hand him my E-11; wasn't going to be the "sore-thumb" and not participate, where he then as he's about to do his "pew-pew" I hear him say not this piece of crap or something along those lines and tosses my blaster aside (my blaster at the time was metal and plastic and a gift) it breaks in 3 places. At that point it went dead silent and he realized what he had done and picks up a piece goes to me and offers to pay for it (yes he made restitution for it). Now he did have a video of the incident on his instagram page but all post there have been taken down for whatever reason. Command staff was able to get me a new E-11 through his making restitution but never again will I or anyone else inour Garrison hand him a prop. So if you read this this is how I got my nickname but also be wary about handing him a prop. On a lighter note I made a patch to commemorate what had happen.

Cleantrooper[TK]
There are some great stories here and this won't be ranked among them . : ) A simple tale it is. Not being the tech type I've only ever join 2 forums the UKGarrison and this one! So to the name, my first TK armor kit was meant to be a sandy but the more I looked into it the Clean Tk s seemed to get more opportunities and didn't have the expense of making the back pack! It was cheaper ( and easier ) to add some abb buttons and change the knee! And so I became clean trooper!
JZYL
21 hours ago, Blaster68 said: My nickname is Blaster and this how I got it. That's memorable! Yeeesh careful with props.... and giving them to people I accidentally broke a Final Fantasy cosplayer's giant sword at Fanime once. As an adult looking back, he totally deserved it though. [was my first Fanime Con, and I had lost my friends and family. This guy was hardcore hitting on me (though I had no idea at the time), while I was admiring his cosplay. He gave me the sword and attempted to "show" me how to "swing" it by basically wrapping himself around me, which startled me. Between that and it being super heavy for me, I fell off a step and dropped it. As I'm freaking out and bruised, and the dude looks pissed, my older brother finally spots me and runs over. Big bro scoops me up to calm me down while my dad goes to talk to the cosplayer about paying him back. But then my dad basically like "ok if you need it repaired I'll pay for it, but if it was so expensive then did you give it to a 12 year old?". Dude suddenly realizes that he'd been flirting with a tall child and not a little woman, and basically high tailed it out of there. For context, both my teenage brother and my dad were both over 6'3"]
