  1. I took a look at the design and Spreadshirt has the image automatically at 90%, so I raised it to 100%.

  2. Ordered and recieved Humbrol paint set and TK helmet hardware from Trooperbay. Also ordered white leather dye kit for boots, and vinyl spray paint from Amazon. Since the weather here in New Jersey is getting warmer, I plan to start working on my TK soon. Stay tuned for photos!

  5. Don't get me wrong, I am super excited that Anovos is shipping some kits, that the actually do have a real product and hope mine will arrive sooner than later but when there are hundreds on order and 3 years later they ship out a very few incomplete kits I can't help but still be more than a little frustrated with them still. I am still cheering for them to come through but talk about coming out with a fizzle and not a bang.

  6. Ok, then i will sand them on the top to make them flat, thanks!!! Enviado desde mi SM-G955F mediante Tapatalk

  7. Looking from the top the flat section looks a little small, pan heads are mostly flat on top with rounded edges

  8. Unfortunately you see this with a lot of companies, for some reason they just won't come clean and say there's a delay, rather to leave people in the dark. I would have though 4 years on they would have learnt but we encountered the same issues in 2015 and they are still treating customers the same. It's great to see some kits being received and I would hope the majority of orders will be fulfilled soon. I do have a chuckle when I see a preview email from them now, do they really think there is confidence out there to "pre order" after all that's gone on recently

  11. When trimming the bells I suggest doing so with a curve and not straight. That´s how the originals were cut and if you look at the RS kit you can see that is does in fact have a curve to it. That will help minimize any eventuall gap between the bells and the chest and back plates

  12. I like it. But the table could be bigger on a XL. The det names are also hard to read. It’s still rad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I am honestly not sure if Anovos even know the difference between their lies and the truth anymore. I know for a fact their customer service department isn't given that info.

  14. Thanks, @A.J. Hamler ! I hope so! Did you get a confirmation of the receipt of your photos? Nobody replied to my email. @shashachu Uhhm.... yeah, that's a little surreal. Hey, we could flank a short Vader and everything would look perfect Haha, thank you! I'm trying! *phew* You'll have your chance soon, I promise. And thanks!! I'm SO pleased with Smudge's brow line in particular. I initially wanted it much lower but I consider that a distinct Stunt-Hero difference so raised it against my wishes and whaddya know, now I love it that way. Thanks, @gmrhodes13 ! My garrison has notoriously long approval times but I'm hoping you're right. Thank you, Adi. Well done on your build, too! I go away for a bit and come back and here you are submitting for EIB!

  15. Hey Phil, I think "No, it's 1.5"" is the short answer, but here's the whole explanation... I've got a variety of straps on my shoulder bells - the shoulder straps (chest to backplate) are 2" white nylon, with sew-in snaps connecting to 1.5" black soft waistband elastic that snaps into the tops of my shoulder bells. There's more of that 1.5" glued into the mid-top of the bell which snaps into the inner top of my bicep to keep the bicep from sliding down my stick figure arm, and further 1.5" wrapped around the outside of the bicep and snapped near the lower edges of the shoulder bell to keep the bell snugly against the bicep. That strap ended up being a lot more necessary than expected! The bells flap around without it. Confusing enough? I'll get a picture of my interior strapping on here soon.

  17. Misery loves company....... I am waiting on two items - Kylo Ren Helmet and FOTK kit. Last update I was given on the Kylo was Winter 2020. The FOTK I am eagerly awaiting any news like everyone else on this thread. I joined the Anovos FOTK FB group as well. At least one person received the kit.

  22. In a perfect world, the paint on the ab-buttons could be a bit smaller, (note in the reference photo that the entire button is not painted) and the small button plate trimmed a bit more but these will not hold you back from the higher levels. GREAT work on that bucket!!

  30. Alay beat me to it. There are three are four events currently scheduled/planned around Albany - I'm over by Buffalo, so I lose track of what's going on in the Capital Region.

  31. Hey Peter! You should check out the local garrison for Albany area, which I believe is Garrison Excelsior. They can give you information on how to get your costume approved once you're done constructing it/receiving it, and help guide you towards events

  32. Very nice job! I like seeing these types of restoration. May I ask how you repaired it? Did you use fiberglass, and such? Thanks. Looks great.

  33. General strapping, most use elastic with snaps (if you double snap you have a spare in case one fails) other glue directly or use Velcro, I like the snaps so when the elastic stretches over time you can just remove and replace. 34. Thanks for all the great comments and support everyone! Build Update: BICEPS Started construction of the biceps: trimming, sanding, and measuring cover strips Trimmed the cover strips and started to glue them together: magnets are great for this! I decided to glue both cover strips and biceps at the same time, had some help to align all parts. 24 Hour later.... I tried a test fitment and the piece sticking out at the top was digging into my armpit: I rounded the edges to make it more comfortable:
