  1. Is that a crack on the bottom corner of the backplate, or could just be dirt I suppose, these guys are pretty dirty (and excited by the looks of those cods ) .

  2. Spotted this in the new Mandalorian trailer. Finally we have screen vision of a TK toting an SE-14 I guess this makes it cannon for the R1 style and something to add to that CRL

  3. Well, we've had calls out for CRL edits for over a year and for most of my term I was doing monthly updates. If you have specific language you want to see, you are always free to submit it as: What is currently says: What it should say: Also, as you are probably already aware the CRLs - not just ours but any in the 501st - aren't meant to capture every possible variation or wardrobe issue, but the canonical character. Hence why Mr. No Stripes is not in the CRL, etc.

  6. It was bad they missed the last movie with delivery but to miss the final in this trilogy, that’s just downright unforgivable. When anyone asks it’s a big NO to aNOvos, you guys had more than a few chances and you flippantly threw them away.

  7. Some updates with regards to the gasket were talking about the other day. Reggie replied saying we are getting the cloth ones.. one good news.. now where's the email which says "please confirm your shipping address" LOL

  8. Just a rough cut for now. I can just get my head through but it might be harder when it’s all together. I was considering fixing the sides to the inside of the back plate wings so as to minimize movement and protect the weak point at the shoulder. May have to reconsider as I think it’ll be really hard to put on. I have to trim the chest plate too before doing much more so that I can figure out how it all fits together.

  9. I just finished a tutorial which addresses armor bite, and it can be found here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48166-return-edges-101-ottk/?tab=comments#comment-670906 It's kind of a long read, but I hope it helps!

  10. Yeah it was $300 shipped and the guy had like 14 of these.. at least I have something to play around with. It’s crazy how messed up the orders and logistics have been for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Amazing to think there are people who have been waiting since September 2027 and still don’t have this product. Yet they are readily available on eBay and delivered within days. Glad you like it Chris! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  16. So this is The next part of the build update. Painted and did an assembly on each individual parts before I hit a snug. The holes between the glock slider and the body piece wasn't deep enough hence there's an awkward gap. Tomorrow once I receive my Dremel keyless chuck, will make the 2mm hole deeper with 1.5-2mm drill bit. As you can see with paint on, everything looks flawless due to the no to little print lines in SLA printed props while maintaining details A tip, to apply a dash of super glue on the small metal rod @ the trigger. This way it will keep the rod from sliding out. Thanks for reading and hope you are inspired. 17. Looks like a crack to me. Plus, the TK's he's killing outside look cleaner than the ones inside.

  18. I have an E11 and a DLT-19 from Praetorian as well. I love them! This is my DLT-19 from them that I troop with most often with my HWT: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Nice! In the copy written my moi for the 501st trading car for the SE-14, I mentioned that it was primarily used by officers or in situations where you'd need more stopping power with a large humanoid (think Wookie), something analogous to the background of the .45 1911. Range more limited than an E-11, but more power where you need it. Will be interesting to see how they use it in the film. At any rate, it's validating to see it in a film after so many years of us using it in our branding on FISD as our unofficial mascot.

  21. Commission builds are a 2 edged sword, Robert. On one hand it saves you time of course, but on the other without having you actually there to fit it you may find that it needs some minor tweaking. Mark has a sterling reputation here, and if he says he can do it then you can take that to the bank! One thing I would highly suggest is that you have him remove the return edges completely in some of the areas (see link below). If you find that it does indeed need adjustments, always feel free to ask us for suggestions and help, and include photos... (we LOVE photos)! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48166-return-edges-101-ottk/?tab=comments#comment-670906

  22. This is where I'd suggest trimming the smaller one to, Keith (below). Great job so far.. keep those pics coming! Side note: If you see him, please tell my buddy Jeff (Wingnut65) I said hello!

  23. Thank you! I finished the field pack and pauldron! The pack was a lot lighter than I thought it would be and doesn't do any damage to the armor like I was afraid it was going to do! Here's the pack The top box has a removable panel on it, so I can carry whatever in it. The Antenna is removable for easier storage and so I can make through small doorways. I also bought some dishwashing gloves today. There nice and long, so I don't have worry about any of my wrist showing! I took it all out for a test run tonight! It all works pretty well, but I definitely won't be able to wear it indoors, unless it's a con floor. I'ts too big! It's a little hard to see all the details at night. I'll get some daytime pictures on Halloween!

  26. In regards to paint, I used RAL 9010 and a gloss clear to paint my KB kit and I feel that was a pretty good match against my Anovos helmet.

  27. Finally home for a few weeks so I started on painting the button plates. I think I’m on the right track but I want to make sure. I’m thinking I put a little to much grey. Keith S. Tampa Bay Squad. DZ-47282

  28. Exterior with Crack and E6000 The yellow identifies the largest crack with some surrounding stress marks. The green signifies where the E6000 covering it stops on the outside roughly where the return edge ends. The black line is because I have clumsy fingers... Interior w/ Cloth The gray you see “leaking” out is actually epoxy putty I applied as initial reinforcement to the area prior to any cracks. Obviously, it was insufficient but thought I’d try it on a whim.

  30. Armour bites... the true badge of membership. Congrats! Seriously though, most armour bites can be fixed with some very minor adjustments. Removing return edge and sanding (right up to a 600 grit or more) will help. Minor strapping adjustments or even adding padding to the inside of your armour can all help. Keep on trooping! Three in one week is a great start!

  31. In what areas are you getting the armor bites, Helen? Most of us have experienced this, and we can certainly help you get rid of them! Pics would help a lot.

  34. 3 troops in a week, awesome!! Armour bite yep it’s a learning curve knowing just how far you can push your range of motion before you get the pinch lol. Make sure any sharp edges are sanded smooth and minor trim the areas that cause the most trouble. Good luck and here’s to many many more troops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  36. Realized I had not posted in a about a year, so here is an update and some progress photos. I tried everything including bleach and could not get the armour white to match the helmet. I am not a gifted painter so I finally found a helmet that matched. The problem was it was too small for me. It was just the opening so I dremeled it down enough to get my head in. Now that I have some photos, I can see I am getting closer but still have a lot of work. The calves are too big so I will need to redo those. The ammo pouch isn't staying in place on the shoulder, and I need to make a lot of little adjustments to the fit. Always looking for other suggestions. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  38. Thanks to some encouraging feedback, I’ll be offering this type of helmet as commission builds in the not too distant future. As with this build, carefully constructed to emulate the majority of screen used Stunt helmets, sprayed following the originals processes, with hand painted detailing. More details to follow.

  39. Just let everyone know. Mark from trooper bay has confirmed that the esb decals will fit the WTF helmet! These are the standard ones. I will order and confirm once I get them in hand. I hope this helps others out going down the same path
