  1. I’m not really interested in discussing the FB group here. As someone who laboured hard to build a stormtrooper kit and join the 501st I earned the right to be a part of this detachment. I’m not breaking any rules or code of conduct with my activity within this forum. I post helpful information and support members in their build threads. As Admin of the external group I have been very clear about remaining independent. We don’t answer to any organisation or it’s members. We don’t have to. There are no reciprocal agreements. I hate playing tit for tat but if you’re asking me about blocked memberships perhaps Tony could take a moment to explain why he blocked me from the Anovos First Order Build Group last year. Seems like anyone can do it! If you want to remove me from the detachment please go ahead, and provide me and the wider membership with the reason for doing so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. I’m confused. Two days ago a strong threat was published by the FISD when mention of the group came up and now you want to talk about it openly here? Let’s leave the FB group out of here shall we. That’s what was requested in no uncertain terms. Back to trooper research. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. In other news, they did ship out some Pauldrons today. Small wonders!
  4. Thanks for posting Kevin, though I feel you shouldn’t feel like you have to defend yourself. I am aware of the issues the staff at FISD have with the FB group and these have been made aired previously on these pages. My inbox - both personal and FISD - is also filled with PMs from various displeased staffers. All I can say is the concerns are unwarranted as this post from March 2019 demonstrates: There’s some serious real world stuff going on right now. Frankly this all seems so petty and pointless. This is also supposedly a research thread so let’s get back to business or shut it down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Slick as ever mate. Great work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Great work mate! The build is coming along very nicely. I’ve seen many attempt the gaskets and many fail, so kudos to you [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. This is simply not the case. Just a few days ago a relatively new member of the group asked for build advice. I directed them to FISD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Open hostility to the 501st Legion is simply not the case. The 1000+ members of the group you are referring to are either members of the 501st, or striving to be members, and actively supported by group members to reach their goal. In addition, many members of the group are on 501st leadership teams. Passion for the 501st is strong, as is support for any costuming group members wish to subscribe to. The photo gallery referred to has been shared with other detachment teams and none have raised the concerns listed here. In light of the fears expressed and to save any further confusion I have removed access to the galleries. If you there any further concerns please do reach out to me via PM. 11. Some more general shots of the F-11D. The first seems to show a black D-ring... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. A nice clear shot of one of the variations seen in the movie. This seems to be the TLJ with white D-ring, torch mount and right hand side cocking channel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Yes, they built one from the R1 mold and then created one piece fibreglass casts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Here’s a nice pic of the fibreglass casts of the OT buckets... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
