Armor Bin Imperial Cog Wheel Covers

Description:

This is a wheel cover for your Husky brand rolling toolbox used for armor storage. Customize your armor bin by changing the look of the stock wheels to an Imperial Cog. I designed these wheel covers to use on a Husky brand 37 in. toolbox. I'm not sure if they will fit other sizes of Husky toolboxes. Let me know if they do!

Fit perfectly on my smaller Husky 35 in. bin! :) Thanks for a great share!

Soooo who’s gonna be the one to print them for the rest of us that don’t have a printer? I’d pay for material and shipping.

Straight up awesome!  And thanks for sharing!

I really need to get a printer.

To all those who don't have access to a 3D printer just send me a PM if you would like me to make you a set. I don't have a ton of free time but I'd like to help who I can with getting these wheel covers on your armor bins! I haven't figured out a cost yet but I'm thinking probably $10.00 should cover everything.

Also, I forgot to say... Thank you for all of the positive feedback everyone! I really appreciate it!

Just bought a Husky 22 inch Connect Rolling System Tool Box and the wheels are the same size as Husky 37 inch Mobile Job Box and the 35 inch mobile job box. Great idea and THANKS!!

Definitely will need 2 sets in near future.

In the process of printing these now.  How did you all end of attaching the printed base to the wheel?  Did you just glue it on?

E6000 seems to be the duct tape of glues.  :)

Thanks.

It is indeed!

Hint:  E-6000 can/will tend to seep out if you add too much.  To avoid that, when I attached these to my wheels I turned the bin on it's side, added the glue and blue taped them down tight.  After 24 hours I flipped it and did the other side.  3 years since then and no issues.

I'm not sure when this happened, or if it's just a "batch" issue, but the wheels currently on the Husky bins now only have 5 recesses instead of 6.  Of course, I discovered this after I printed out the insert bases. :sSW_deathstar:

Husky redesigned their line of bins (at least the 25 and 50 gallon versions) last winter. The wheels and latch mechanisms appear to be more cheaply constructed with the new iteration. They’re also uglier, therefore warranting these covers even more.

I have the old large bin and do still need a set of these covers myself.

I've reached out to Eric @GoofTrooperto ask if he has time to modify his design
