  1. Welcome aboard Daniel. make sure you post a build thread in the below section, add photos and ask questions when you need help. We are here to assist in every way we can. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/
  2. Hi folks Shirt Run Open Yes this took some time with waiting on DLFL approval but the shirt run is open at last. Please note, due to the restricted time frame as we are trying to get shirts in hands for celebration in late May, the run will be short closing on the 14th April. If you want a shirt then please don't delay in ordering or run the real risk of missing out. This run is open to Full FISD members with a TK ID specifically, not a legion wide run. Closes 14th April
  3. Awesome photos Taylor!
  4. Consider it on the list of CRL updates to discuss this term.
  5. At this stage it is a bit of a grey area. Not something we have really looked to address, more to the point, we have focused on having the correct attachments and more major differences outlined. We can go down the route of deeper investigation of the blaster later in the term, like we are with the TFA/TLJ FO trooper blasters in the current upgrade to those CRL's.
  6. Great to hear you BBB day has arrived. looking forward to seeing your progress photos
  7. The rubber gloves is an interesting one. In summer here in Queensland, it is hot and humid, so I don't wear my rubber gloves. In winter I do. Recently one started to perish and became torn. Did that mean I could not troop even though approved at Centurion level!, of course not. Our higher awards are awarded to the "member" for making the additional changes to their armour. You carry this award for life regardless of weather you still own that particular armour or have made a few changes to it. Enjoy your trooping and make it as comfortable as you can so you can troop as long as you can.
  8. Interesting Joseph. My nylon snap plates are all attached via CA glue and I have only had to re-glue one of them, the rest some 8 years later are still good as new.
  9. Oh my goodness Steve, I am so sorry for your loss.
  10. What parts are you from Jonathan? we can get you in touch with your local 501st garrison or squad so you can also get some local help.
  11. Yes indeed. if you create a build thread and keep it updated with your progress and photos of your work, ask questions on anything you are unsure of, the help and feedback will flow.
  12. Excellent, hopefully come May we get some good screen time and all will be revealed.
  13. Congratulations Nicholas, welcome to Centurion rank
  14. Congratulations Mario, you look fantastic sir.
  15. The pulls on this kit are really crisp, I'm loving it, along with your build progress.
  16. Good to see some progress again Mario.
  17. You need to make 5 post before you gain access Kevin, the forums are set up that way to help avoid spam is all. Hope that helps.
  18. Wow, looking good Daniel. This looks like a very nice kit as well.
  19. We can take care of that for you. One of the DCOGS will attend to it once they are online. Best of luck in your new endeavors Joakim.
  20. OK folks, we have 5 pages of work here so far, we need to start planning to take this to the next level. Importantly we will need some new images for some of the changes we are looking to update, but before that lets get changes grouped finalise some language and look at creating Polls for each proposal. I do think some of the discussion currently has highlighted a few things that might be difficult to use in a CRL at this time, so we need to isolate those and keep them for a future discussion There are plenty of things we can improve on from this thread and potentially some we have missed. Importantly TroS needs to be added to the TLJ tile and the possible load outs for weapon carry looked at closely. I'm sure everyone would like more toys to carry but they also need to fit with what we have seen on screen.
  21. Greetings all. I would like to formally announce our CRL team for the year, starting with our new editions. Daniel (TheSwede) TK-55669 IPM and Justin (TheRascalKing) TK-61490 IPM. Both these members have a keen eye for accuracy, have built several costumes and will make valuable additions to the team. The rest of the team consists of Joseph (justjoseph63) TK-10963 DO Mario (TKSpartan) TK-48117 DO Jose (Chemi) TK-30173 DO Glen (grmhodes13) TK-85421 DPRO Tony (ukswrath) TK-10116 DPRO And myself as LMO contact, Wiki doc editor and general word refinement. Currently the TLJ/TroS CRL work thread is in Hard armour so all are welcome to contribute to the conversion. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48906-tlj-tros-crl-update-work-flow/ Once we are satisfied with the proposal for changes, we will again set up Polls for membership to vote on before actioning the updates and releasing the improved CRL. This years CRL approach will be systematic to keep focus on updating costumes that need it the most, before moving to check through others to see if we need to align descriptions, add new photos that more accurately represent the costumes, and look for minor typos and errors.

  22. Rubies, not known for their accuracy
  23. May I suggest you make that kind of modification after you have the costume approved, even at basic level, or check with your GML just in case. If you were to go for our optional higher levels, again I would suggest the same, get approved to the level you want, then make additional mods.
  24. Happy 25 years to any of our members that have been around that long. It's a huge milestone for the 501st regardless of how long you have been a member of this magnificent hobby and well worth celebrating.
  25. Congrats on finally getting your TK done and out on a troop. You look fantastic!
