  1. Glen is 100% correct. The archives are for out of date, missing imagery and incomplete posts. That area is not visible to most members, but literally a holding area for the fore mentioned. As we are not in the practice of deleting it is the best way to attempt to keep such a vast forum a little cleaner. Other things that can limit access to a small degree is your minimum number of posts (5) Once over the 5 which we use as a Bot or spam check I believe, you gain a touch more viability.
  2. I would be happy to consider that as two separate builds even though you can only be awarded EI once for the same costume. It was two different kits, so we did follow the process correctly on the second. That is a win for you Justin.
  3. I certainly hope you get your purchase brother, in fact I really hope everyone gets what they are owed, more than anything.
  4. Good to see you are still working away on this build, also cool that you have lost more weight. That generally takes a bit of work in itself.
  5. I will be excited when I see the post coming in by our members, stating their purchases have been shipped. Then and only then will I will feel a glimmer of hope that this company is heading in the right direction.
  6. Always good to see the occasional necro post. Trust me when I say both gmrhodes13 and myself have seen more than our fair share whilst trying to clean up the forums over the last 2 years lol.
  7. Hi Joshua, and welcome to FISD. Unfortunately the Honorary membership program is for the actors, producers, directors and others involved in the movies and TV series of Star Wars and not everyday members. The only way to join the 501st is through your local garrison, first as a cadet, as the only limitation is members must be 18 years of age and up. You are a cadet until you can build a costume that meets the requirements of the CRL and become fully approved. This gives you the opportunity to learn how to wrangle (be the eyes and ears of those in costume) yeah visibility is limited and some costumes can be restrictive in movement and uncomfortable. Many do join and start with a less expensive costume like an Imperial officer costume. Still not without reasonable cost, but it is cheaper than a full accurate First order or even original trilogy Stormtrooper outfit. The 501st is the definitive Star Wars costuming group, and with that comes a reasonably high standard in costume detail. It is why we are known as the best, and why Disney Lucas Film call on our members to represent them at events and even star as extras in film and TV shows. It's the fine details we take pride in and why Halloween style costumes don't make the grade. I wish you well in your journey joining the 501st, it isn't a cheap hobby in general, but you have some more affordable options through different costume choices.
  8. So far, they seem to have plenty of post in their FB account but i feel they are cagey about letting on who they are. They claim to have been at conventions since 2003, but any cos player could claim the same. I am know waiting on feedback from any that have assembled one of their models to get a clearer evaluation.
  9. I shall ask around locally for you, we have several very good 3d designers in Aus, some do print and ship as kits, other simply supply the files at a fee.
  10. Oh yeah, you are wearing the slippers for sure Every one of Glens costumes are amazing.
  11. Thank you Nathan for your words, and welcome back to FISD. We are all feeling the loss, and I know exactly what you mean about how he made people feel. There is no doubt he will be very missed by many, but one thing is for certain, he will never be forgotten, not here, not ever.
  12. I can't believe I missed this!! My apologies Glen, congratulations on yet another outstanding costume and successful EI approval. I guess my focus was on getting the EI badge rectified at the time, and I neglected to chime in on the thread.
  13. B E A utiful!!!!
  14. Congratulations Ardeshir, as always, you look totally amazing!
  15. Congratulations Adam, and welcome to centurion rank
  16. Great work Jamie, we shall get a few more eyes across it before I discuss changes with the LMO team, but I don't see them having any issues with it.
  17. Awesome.
  18. So is the description including the EI and Cent info correct on the TFU to simply duplicate across to the Incinerator CRL?
  19. It is with great sadness I make this announcement as we have lost one of our own. Unfortunately Terrell Reber TK-1787 (SuperTrooper), know by many as ATA Affordable trooper Armor has passed away. If you were ever fortunate to have spoken with Terrell, you will know he had an affect on people. He had a way with words that made you feel like a lifelong friend, he was intelligent, talented, and believed everyone should have the opportunity to live out their Stormtrooper dreams. Terrell is a huge loss to our community in many ways. His service to FISD our members and the Legion at large will never be forgotten. Rest in peace good sir, and may the force be with you always.
  20. I think the dash looks better for sure.
