  1. ATA is awesome when it comes to helping troopers with odd parts, hope it won't be too long until you have your replacement
  2. Looking good, hope your wife understands lol
  3. Hello lots of build threads on the forum for you to follow, think of the armor as a life sized plastic model kit, I am sure you will do fine
  4. Perhaps you could add pictures of the gloves you are talking about
  5. I would try putting snaps further to the front on the elastic shoulder straps. this has stopped mine from rotating. You may also need tighter elastic around the biceps that would also help. Thighs should come up a little, I have adjustable straps on my thighs and found I needed to pull mine up too.
  6. Very nice work Mark, if you wanted too you could give the bells a little heat and flare them out slightly this would allow the centre ridge to go over the ridge on the bicep a little more. I wouldn't bother though as they look good to me
  7. You could send Vern a messeage (TK Bondservnt 2392), he has a nice set and he is a guru of blasters . If you use Zeroroom's you will have to check as I think from memory it was missing a couple of holes and also you have to modify the size to print the template on some sized pipes.
  8. You can only say stay away from ebay so many times lol
  9. You could leave as is but I went a little further, if you take a little more off the bottom flat section and the top round section the curved piece will be brought in further. An easy way to see what you need to trim is use a pencil and run it around the base of the ear
  10. You don't want to take too much more of your forearms or you will loose the ridges when you cover with the strip. Forearms should be closed and we use the e6000, the only place to use velcro or clips would be on to close your shins. Looking good so far keep up the good work.
  11. Had the same problem with my shoulder bells, I ended up putting snaps further to the front on the elastic shoulder straps and this has stopped them rotating. I have adjustable straps on my thighs and found I needed to pull mine up too. Some photo's would be great to give us a better idea of what you are talking about.
  12. You shouldn't have a problem with approval but I have had some pieces from TM and ATA and the colour difference is quite noticeable, just depends on what two makes you will be using.
  13. For a social armor it is looking good but if you would like to be 501st approved and accepted by most you will need a better armor and lid
  14. Took me about 30 seconds to feel comfortable, no pinching and very easy to move in, think it was getting use to the clattering that took the longest time. Oh and reallising after 10 minutes of have photo's taken with the public that I didn't need to smile as I was wearing a lid LOL
  15. Congrats on approval Tom, well done now it's time to troop
  16. As above, a few minor fixes and you should be fine, good luck.
