  1. You could also try a buffing compound
  2. If you need to use sandpaper the finer the better, leave less scratches, use wet and dry as it will last longer
  3. Looking forward to the progress
  4. Nice work Steve
  5. Nothing better than a big brown box, good luck with the build

  13. Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to the build
  14. Looking good, try not to go too big rounding your cover strip corners
  15. Nice research, here's a couple of links to my builds Hasbro build Blaster build for centurion
  16. If you take a little more out of the corner it will give you a little better vision. Coming along nicely
  17. Stay away from EVILBAY
  18. Received mine as I wanted to add this version to my bucket collection. First impressions it's has nice details, the tubes cheeks could probably be a bit longer but really depends how you wore the bucket, tilted slightly would be more screen accurate. The only negative (which you can see in previous photos) is that is pretty bumpy, which means some sanding and perhaps some bondo will be required. Would I purchase armor to match the bucket, no I'd keep my savings and wait for EPVII armor
  19. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  20. Awesome, I never had the chance to get to one, most got posted in a members only section, that has since been changed Great when a group of members get together and how the knowledge just flows, enjoy
  21. Also just one of those "Photoshop Jockeys!"
  22. Been helping a few fellow members out with this tip so thought I would share with the rest of my brothers and sisters. The biggest reason why snaps fail is the fact that some snap tools won't flare the post out enough and you only roll the post over. You will need a Philips head screwdriver, once your snap is together place the tip of the screwdriver on top of the post then hit with a hammer. You can now see the post has been splayed out in to 4 pieces. Now use the snap tool that came with the kit and the posts will flare out. Now if there are any bit still sticking up use a bolt, rod or hex bolt, anything that will fit inside the snap and give that a tap. And now you are done. Works on both snaps too
  23. Another great read, thanks team
