Thanks guys. I thought you were just trying to make sure I understood you completely, Darren. Haha.

So I have the Heston 3D and I got the balloon lights. I like the other thread. I can't seem to find a pic of lights in the mag. Should they go in the counter and Mag or does it just look cool?

Adding kidney shims for larger troopers!
71CobraTrooper replied to TK21029's topic in Tutorials, Tips and HOWTOs
I'm trying to lose weight, but this is my backup plan. This is the best kidney shim I've seen. Great job. I just need a few inches. -
Is anyone working on the TFA TK communication sound? They have a distinct sound. I like it. Let's get it done. First Order iComm?? : )

No reponds from maker
71CobraTrooper replied to SkyyDragon's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I agree with the folks here as well. Unless you get lucky and order just before a run or order armor that the maker says is ready and waiting, everything 501st takes forever. Well worth the wait though. -
Fix for cracked AM chest
71CobraTrooper replied to 71CobraTrooper's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
It isn't noticeable from the front anymore. The crack was only in the return edge, not making it to the chest. The crack went together well and you would have to look very closely to see it. Hope this helps someone. -
While doing something I shouldn't have, I caused a hair-line crack in the return edge of my AM 2.0 chest. It was small but I could tell this would easily get out of control. Here's what I did after getting some ideas from others here. It feels very strong now. I may search out some other similar spots and reinforce where I can. I glued a small curved piece on the return edge to immediately stop that from moving. Then glued a long piece across the chest and added a fairly thick piece of ABS on top of that at the center.

AM 2.0 EIB?
71CobraTrooper replied to 71CobraTrooper's topic in FISD Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) Requirements
I'm going to make a couple of easy changes and request to switch designation. I should have went stunt from the beginning. Thanks all. -
AM 2.0 EIB?
71CobraTrooper replied to 71CobraTrooper's topic in FISD Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) Requirements
Except for the bubble lenses, I think I fit into ANH stunt and qualify (on paper) for EIB. Are there any details that I am missing between hero and stunt besides the helmet differences? They seem about the same. I can easily switch the lenses. -
AM 2.0 EIB?
71CobraTrooper replied to 71CobraTrooper's topic in FISD Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) Requirements
I was approved as ANH Hero. I honestly didn't check the requirements for stunt. Maybe I should revisit my original designation. Thanks for the info so far. -
So, I tried my best to aim for EIB when I was building my AM 2.0 armor. I think I achieved all of the requirements except with the helmet. There are four bars on the ears and I'm pretty sure I have to have all 3 screws on each ear. Here are my questions: 1. Is this assessment correct? 2. Is there another bucket that matches the AM 2.0 armor best (color wise)? 3. I cut down my chest (new design) and back quite a bit. Are replacements still needed for centurion?

I think they look good. I finished the AM build in October. I had to trim quite a bit off of the back of each shin. I also fixed the weird angles after they were all glued together by trimming off some of the return edge. There is plenty there to cut them evenly. Knee plate is going to cover the top of one anyway.
