  1. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  2. 14 years now for me, still have the cravings from time to time, still can smell a smoker 10 cars away. Wish you best of luck, be strong, you will get there in the end
  3. Looking good, you could move your drop boxes out further too
  4. Very nice looking blaster
  5. Trooped with my Doopy's pipe build for 2 yeas without any issues
  6. You had REBELS in the heading so I thought you meant this one The E-11 you show is smaller and not as detailed as the Hasbro, position of some of the pieces could be better too, but it would probably get through basic approval.
  7. It's missing quite a few pieces for basic approval, it would need an add on kit similar to the Dooyps kit for Hasbro's
  8. I just measured the grappling box then blew up a picture of one on the computer then measure the grappling hook size. A nice detail photo to get measurements
  9. You can usually tell when you fit the shins to your legs, they sit better one way
  10. Hello and welcome aboard
  11. Nice work, I would have put the tube stripes on the other way, also you could add a couple of extra rank bars on the ears (if you go for Centurion - •Ear bars shall have only two to three bumps painted in black (rank stripes))
  12. You could glue the end of the smaller piece to the other, I don't the seam would be seam, also put the join under the vocoder, won't stand out as much there
  13. Coming along nicely, you will find a difference in sizing, I used heat on one of my forearms just to get it a little more oval like the other side. Heat is a tricky thing to uses on ABS if you are going to try it I would suggest testing with some scrap ABS first. I use a heat gun but I've done it a few times, some use hot water which just softens the ABS enough.
  14. I know right My second set of handplates just arrived and just sewn onto soft gloves so I have now that option
  15. I've had no problems with getting Doopy's into Australia even with our strict laws, shipping can take 3-4 weeks. I've heard some in the US have problems, I'd give it another week if not try to contact doopy's direct Sales@doopydoos
  16. I trace the opening on cardboard first, then using that as a template apply to the lens, cut out slightly larger, using a heat gun gently warm the lens material, hold against eye opening until cools then glue into place with some hot glue. There are many ways to hold them in place, hot glue, double sided screws, silicon, Tape, screws with plastic blocks and so on.
  17. Nice work looking great
  18. Nice start, looking forward to the rest
  19. Great read thanks for sharing Eric
  20. Nice work, helmet looks the part
  21. Agreed
  22. Looking forward to the build
  23. I hear the wait list is 9 to 10 months, don't get disheartened it's worth the wait, very strong armor, still no cracks after two years of solid troop, same can't be said about other armor even younger than mine .
  24. Love it when a brown box arrives
  25. That was scary
