I couldn't figure it out. I put in a trouble ticket with the forums software support folks. Liking posts seems to work again I think. -Eric5 points

Haha I'm too small! I'll deal with sizing later. I'm sure I'll be the smallest trooper in my state haha! Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk1 point

Thanks! I originally bought it for myself, but she's taken full ownership. I've created a monster.1 point

It's not a matter of the threads not being there, it's just accessing them directly seems to be the issue. For instance, when you try to open a the E-11 thread in the Weapons Locker, it says it is "...currently offline..", but here it is, completely accessible: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/1 point

I would suggest a few things, Mark.. If you have the room, I would bring your ab plate up if you can, as well as think about extending the white shoulder bridge elastic. This will help the chest piece come down, and along with raising the ab plate will help reduce the gap between them. Your biceps will also need to be raised to reduce that gap. If you can indeed raise the ab plate, I would raise the thighs a bit as well. Another thing I would highly suggest is ditching the Anovos cloth belt. Their holsters are fantastic, but their belts are flimsy and will sag. If you decide to do this, I would go with one of Rob's, which are not only heavy duty but custom made to your size: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19803-fs-white-canvas-belts/ Keep the photos coming!1 point

Okay folks! I'm back! Ive been doing a fitment check of my wife's suit - torso and back - and have some questions... here goes... The chest plate looks to be too big for her frame. What are some acceptable ways to trim this down and stay in regulation? Back fit-up. I think the back plate will need to be trimmed, as there is some overlap with the kidney plate, and, like the chest plate, looks too big for her frame. Nothing really new in this picture... she just wanted everyone to see her cool mug. The bottom sketched line is where the bottom of the chest plate comes. If I don't have to trim it, the top line is where I think I could trim to get the ab plate to a comfortable level for her. Side alignment of the ab/kidney/butt plate. Haven't trimmed anything, but bent the kidney plate to the shape of her body better. Is this looking okay? Other side. I'm hesitant to trim anything, and will be combing through some other threads. If anyone knows a good link to someone who trimmed a suit up to fit a lady trooper, please let me know! Again, your feedback is much appreciated! Thanks all!1 point

Did you get an email from Anovos saying it was on its way to you?1 point

Alright, I wasn't going to post this........but I also did a quick test fit just holding the AB... Mark1 point

Ok, I'm playing "catch-up" here.... So I decided for now that I would KEEP the hooks that I made for the biceps to shoulder bell straps. If I find I don't like them later I will remove them. I went ahead and attached double-snaps to the inside of the shoulder bell to connect the bicep. Then I sewed the sew-on snaps on to elastic for the shoulders. And finally attached the arm pieces together. I originally used the wider (more screen accurate) elastic to attach the forearm to bicep (close to the inner elbow) but I was getting the same "bunching" of elastic that Wook mentioned when I bent my arm. I used a similar solution by going with narrower elastic and attaching it to the front inner cover strip. This seemed to work much better. Not sure if this issue is specific to the AP armor, but not a big deal. Next up I did a lot of trimming and sanding for the torso parts... That's it for right now... Mark1 point

Looking good Tom. Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the party, on a positive note my shop is open most weekends if you want to come by and build some armor together.1 point

Things are coming along nicely. It really starts to feel real when you start strapping pieces together. Always exciting to see it come together!1 point

That looks great, I love what you did with the shoes! One thing that may help is to get a lens for her helmet. I got a flat lens at trooperbay and put it. It’s definitely better than the cloth one rubies has.1 point

This is so awesome! I just ordered one of these to make for my daughter. Besides the rubies helmet did you have to replace any other parts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Hi I’ve been out of things these last few years minding my own business, trooping only occasionally, so I’m a little out of the loop. Have I missed something, as I’ve just been reading build threads younger than celebration Europe II, and people are still using #15 to paint their ab buttons? I stopped using this around 2008? Whats going on? What have I missed?1 point

It’s not this Detachment (currently) where this costume would fall under. Here’s the procedure. Look for the unit you might fall under based on your geographical location.. Look here. https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php Then identify the Garrison Membership Liaison (GML). Or, If you live in an area where there is an Outpost and no GML, identify the Commanding Officer (CO). Contact that person via email. that person will communicate with Legion Membership Officers, who will assist the GML or Outpost CO, in identifying this costume and which Detachment it might fall under. hope that helps.1 point
