  1. Private sale on the UK Garrison site. Have you tried your local garrison’s forum pages?
  2. That’ll be down to individual vendors and buyers, as to whether or not they accept the risk
  3. Check the royal mail website for restricted or prohibited items and obviously your own government’s website. I’m in the UK.
  4. Probably no point, i’ve had a look at Germany’s restricted import list and a built E-11 would be seized. Your best bet is to buy as a kit outside Germany or source a built one within Germany.
  5. As mentioned above, Sheartech makes great E-11 blasters. Check them out on Facebook. Alternatively, I have an E-11 for sale
  6. If that was in response to my comment, I meant more like ‘randomly triggered’, i.e. from background noise, etc
  7. Just a basic Aker for me. I find randomly triggered static bursts annoying. I don’t think the public really notice the bursts anyway. If you notice in the films, ‘troopers have barely a click sound at the beginning or end of speech. You can emulate that very easily with practice. And it’s about £20
  8. I currently troop with a Sheartech rubber ANH E-11 - It’s durable enough that I don’t feel that I need to be careful with it. Having said that, i’ve built a few Doopy kits and they’re accurate and cheap as chips in comparison to most ready made blasters. You just need to be a bit more gentle with them, because if you drop them, they will most probably break. For trooping, though, you can’t beat a rubber or foam blaster IMO
  9. Cool, PM me your email and i’ll send some pics
  10. Imperial Boots are great - lovely soft leather, nice and close at the ankles too But yeh, go slightly bigger.
  11. In fact, i’m selling a very nice E-11 (not Doopys), if you’re interested, seeing as you’re in the UK.
  12. Oh yep, you’re quite right. A strip of aluminium from a DIY store And screws to attach. Oh, and a bracket to attach the Hengstler
  13. The complete resin kit does, yes. As long as everything is in the right place and the right way round
  14. Check “Sheartech” on FB - Excellent solid rubber blasters that you won’t mind the odd knock. I’ve made a few Doopys kits and you certainly don’t want to give them to randoms to hold.
  15. Neatsfoot oil will soak-in and soften the leather, assuming it is veg tan leather. Once applied, you can bend and work the leather to allow the oil to work its way into the fibres. If you soak the holster in water, it will inevitably dry-out the leather even more, as some of the natural tanning oils will be washed out, so if you go the moulding route, i’d advise that you also condition the leather after.
  16. Nope, they’re smaller than a standard E-11 based on a Sterling. Too many bits and pieces wrong or missing altogether. There are much more accurate E-11 kits or even fully assembled for not a huge amount more.
  17. I know lol... maybe they just got bored of the stripey red guy
  18. It was supposed to be... I did send the pics to FISD folks to be Photoshopped but never happened in the end.
  19. I should probably put a couple of photos here of my (long gone) BF Shock trooper, due to the great Photobucket purge... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
