I troop with Nomex most of the time unless it’s a LFL troop request then it’s rubber glove all the way . Even with cotton liners here in Queensland’s summer humidity rubber gloves can be very uncomfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Right is probably the better way to go as it doesn't have the texture on the back. If it were on the palm it would be no trouble for either. You are certainly powering through this build David, good to see. This may have been mentioned earlier on in your build, but you could look to find some domed pan head screws for your Thermal detonator rather than the Philips head variety you currently have. the Pan heads are more accurate. Mobility cuts look tidy as does the filler on the joins. Keep up the great work.

There is also the passage from the book Storm troopers Beyond the Armor, from set decorator Roger Christian as follows. He is discussing the communicator that 3PO used and how he created it. "I was in the production design office showing him some plumbing units that he could design into a set. A call came from the floor, from George he says 'I need a communicator, NOW!' " I undid a pipe, and out fell a filter. And I looked at it and saw it had a little grid on the end, and I went, "OH MY GOD" I ran to my room, stuck one little ring around it, ran to the floor, and put it in Georges hand, and he said, 'Perfect'". So there is a few different sources and members of production that discuss the volume of plumbing parts used that lends credence to the fact these tips were indeed part of plumbing accessories.

I would highly recommend it. The aim is to size it right for you, so you look your absolute best. You will need the boots as well to size the bottom of the calves correctly and the neck seal.

Is this kit ABS or fiberglass Michael? If ABS its relatively easy but i would suggest not trimming to length or circumference without wearing your under suit and working from that point. You dont want to take too much material away leaving parts short. or too narrow to fit once the under suit is on. You can look at many TK armour building threads to see how this is done, doesn't have to be R1 to get the general idea. The first cut is always the hardest and was for all of us that had never modified or built armour before. There is a rule to follow, measure twice, cut once. It can also help to remove less than you need to then re check the size. If still too large, then re mark and trim again.
