  1. Very nice trooper, wont be long now.
  2. Looks pretty cool, clean up or not. Persistence and dedication is what our hobby is all about and I’m glad you are sharing it here [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi Chris, this happens automatically when there is no activity in the thread after a period of time. I suggest you bump the post from time to time to stop the auto archive function. I remember reinstating it last time for you for the same reason, so even if you just post the word "Bump" in the thread, it will show as activity and prevent the same from happening again.
  4. Few minor crack repairs should be easy for you to accomplish, the repaint will be more work though.
  5. Very nice work Mark, best of luck sir.
  6. Nice choice, you wont be disappointed.
  7. Wow the cape is looking fantastic, and the armour so shiny, you must be very pleased with your progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What, they digitally removed him wheres the sense of humor Disney! we love the fact sometimes things aren't right, it's always been part of Star Wars, like gaffer tape.

  14. Hi Daniel, welcome to FISD. Hopefully you will feel right at home here on our forums, loads of information and no shortage of great advice, build threads and all the resources you could want. Enjoy your R1 TK adventure sir.
  15. 20,000 Posts! I would like to aknowledge one of our most active Detachment and staff member ever, on his incredible 20,000 post journey here on FISD Glen Rhodes gmrhodes13, (TK 85421). Not only does he offer solid and valuable advise to the greater membership across the many thousands of forum posts and threads on a daily basis, this year he has stepped up and assisted other staff and myself with multiple tasks like the forum headers and the what sometimes seems to be the insurmountable, forum clean up, and Photobucket post revitalization project. (what a mouthful) All this he has done without hesitation, and lets also not forget the truly wonderful job he does with our monthly news letter. He is here, he is there, he is everywhere!!! Thank you Glen, you are a true asset to our detachment and command team and I thank you for your support.
  16. For a 501st costume it has the TLJ teeth but this character is TFA era only so it couldn't be used for an approved costume.
  17. Glad to see you are back working on this project Eric, it will look awesome once finished.
  18. Not at all, but it also really depends how well the armour fits you. Foam padding can help alleviate overlap, which i do have in both the back and kidney pieces but only needed a small amount and its more for comfort.
  19. You will get there Luke it’s a skill developed over time and you are already pretty darn good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Very kind gesture Luke, you are already showing signs of our unofficial motto of "Troopers helping troopers", and that will be greatly appreciated. You've got the links to our special 3D section, there are a few stipulations we require for you to add to your posts about sharing files etc so have a read of those, take a good look around and welcome to FISD!
  21. I would certainly leave some return edge, I have just on 4mm on chest/ab and back/kidney areas. The TD colour looks much better in outdoor light, I was concerned it looked almost black in earlier shots. Solid work trooper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
