  1. Can't wait to see this complete and approved EI level. The cape is looking excellent.
  2. Anovos lost their LFL license so it is very doubtful they will be producing any more SW kit, unless they have some stock tucked away somewhere, otherwise I wouldn't hold my breath. I know this thread was about the FOTK kit but there is plenty of information in it regarding the Anovos situation.
  3. Congratulations Mark, very well done. Welcome to centurion rank
  4. Congratulations and welcome to the legions Victoria.
  5. I used white gaffer tape behind my knee ammo pack to reduce it movement. It can’t be see from the front and I chose it as an homage to the original wardrobe staff that used white gaffer tape to make on the fly repairs to the armour in A New Hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Great to see you back at this one Rudi, I have aspirations of converting my Stunt to a HWT, so I'm very keen to see how this pack build comes together.
  7. How do you know we didn't think about 501 , see this way it's cool for who ever is 500, and whoever is 501! It's cool for everyone that hits this milestone and ultimately cool for anyone who makes centurion level regardless of the number their approval is. It is a wonderful achievment to do those few extra little bits and pieces and is why we already have designs for a general EIB and Centurion pin so everyone that achieves those levels can buy a few. Those will come next year after we have had a chance to celebrate this next detachment milestone. (lets the cat outa the bag) Best of luck Victoria, I hope you make it in too
  8. Great to see you underway Richard. I look forward to your build taking shape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the legion Dan. Also a good luck with your thesis and masters sir.
  10. Glad to read this, go get it Craig.
  11. Trimming looks good. You can still take a little more of the excess out from under the vocoder and the hovi bulge on the right of the image. The larger you make the head hole, the easier it is going to be to get the helmet on and off. trust me every mm can help.
  12. You know what!, you cant beat that feeling when someone asks you where you got your armour from and you tell them you bought a kit and built it yourself. Their is a huge amount of pride that goes along with that. Not only is a a great accomplishment for you, but you learn some new skills, and you will love your armour so much more, that I promise you. We have seen may commission builds where the buyer has still had to modify things to get the armour fitting just right, so if you have to pull things apart, you might as well build it and have it the perfect size from the get go.
  13. Congratulations Kaden, welcome to Expert infantry
  14. I have the hooks and you don't even realise they are there if you put a small bend in them. They can catch on the sides of your chest plate also depending on how they sit.
  15. Just to elaborate on Glens response, we aim for an idealized Stormtrooper look. This means we omit many of the screen faux pars like tape, miss aligned armour pieces, rotated biceps etc etc. A standardised look is in essence what the Deployment officers look to achieve through the suggestions and corrections they offer when reviewing. Groups like the RPF go for all out prop replication, which means you would choose a particular trooper from the movie and replicate every single detail to the finest point possible. Taps , cracks warts and all. MEPD offer something similar to this with their top level for Sand troopers S.W.A.T.
  16. Almost there!!
  17. Way to go Craig, you look awesome! Congratulations and welcome to centurion
  18. I have found that wet n dry sand paper if you have spot yellowing then Anovus polish has worked. I have done it on my armour with excellent results.
  19. Congrats in receiving your BBB Greg, looking forward to seeing you underway. Good support team hear and in your garrison so I know you will master this build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
