  1. Thanks Code, this is the kind of feedback we hope to here from our members, and I'm glad the detachment has made this journey a pleasant one for you
  2. This is my compact emergency trooping kit. Just a few basics to repair strapping, Velcro, spare Han Hooks, extra snaps and the all important Super Glue lol. This little kit has saved my trooping day a couple of times, is small enough to fit in my armour pack which is a suitcase. Products not from Trooperbay, just a sticker I stuck on the lid.
  3. Nice work Code, helmet interior looks nice and clean too.
  4. In a couple of days we get another Star Wars series where we will see a combination of period costumes from the Clone and imperial era hitting our lounge rooms. This thread is for fun discussion and any anomolies or potential differences with our beloved Stormtroopers. Image of the FBFX workshop. These guys worked on Obi Wan and now Andor, bringing other characters like those pretty cool Purge troopers to life
  5. Hope it's not too far away Brian!
  6. Don't blame you with that BBB now sitting there waiting to begin
  7. Good to hear, and look forward to your eventual completion of this costume.
  8. Best of luck on this upgrade/rebuild Greg, some good links have been provided already so you should hit this out of the park. post plenty of progress photos and ask lots of questions when in doubt.
  9. Congratulations Andy, and welcome aboard as an official TK!
  10. We will get him one day and then it's Hasta la vista baby
  11. That turned out schmick as Dan, great work.
  12. I still use the original mic it cam with, but I do have a headset mic for my PC, I should try and see if it works.
  13. Yes i did forget to mention that the icomm will still leach power from the amp, and as Glen pointed out, they specifically call out the Aker brand as compatible.
  14. Icomm has an internal battery, the Aker has an internal battery. so both are powered. If you are referring to the external mod for a battery, that is simply to replace a failed internal battery on an icomm. As the icomm is not an amplifier, simply a modulator with clicks and chirps, you do require some form of powered amp, the Aker is just the weapon of choice due to its compact size and great volume.
  15. Nic is pretty detailed so hopefully the files are accurate.
  16. Welcome aboard Brad, and sorry to read of your loss. You are in the right place for assistance as we have a pre-approval section so you can kit up and add photos so we can make sure you are looking just right for your approval with your local unit. Once you have made 5 posts a more of the forums should be accessible for you like creating sales threads etc. You are in for some fun with this hobby, that is for certain, so enjoy the ride. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/191-tk-pre-approvals/
  17. Such an amazing and detailed build thread for this helmet modification Colin, well done sir on some excellent work. Also thank you for sharing your files with the community. I'm sure there will be more members using both your thread and files as part of their build.
  18. Coming along nicely Adam.
  19. Great to see you have this started Steve, very exciting times ahead.
  20. I trimmed mobility cuts after the thighs were fully assembled, including cover strips attached. I would wager, most do it that way.
  21. As this doesn't show any consistency I would agree that yes both ways should be allowable. It's clear that the dressing department didn't take any notice or had a specific direction on this point.
  22. Big Brown Box day will soon be upon you, congratulations on wedding and your purchase.
  23. 3 years aligns with Covid so I'm not surprised, but now with new kits finally going out, it may well pick itself up too.
  24. Congratulations Justin on your 3D contributors award.
