Good luck with this build and ever better luck with the eventual auction. Two things I know for certain, 1. This will be a wonderfully finished piece with you and your attention to detail and skills. 2. Hi Cody, Glad you took my advice This is a massive resource, but fear not we have plenty of members and staff, all here to assist you in every way we can. Obviously if you need any local Brissy assistance hit me up, I've built/assisted many Redback members with their armour over the years. Glen has given you 2 key links that you should wade your way through, but also make sure you familurise yourself well with the Shock trooper CRL https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_shocktrooper This is the guide on how to assemble your costume to meet Legion basic approval. You will notice some Blue and Red text under the Black text sections. These are optional levels of accuracy you can build to, which will come under review here on FISD as they are driven by the detachment. For your basic approval, that will be handle by our Redback Garrison GML and the CRC (costume review committee) which I am part of as well. Ask plenty of questions, and assistance will flow. Enjoy the journey, it's a wonderful experience.

This is my compact emergency trooping kit. Just a few basics to repair strapping, Velcro, spare Han Hooks, extra snaps and the all important Super Glue lol. This little kit has saved my trooping day a couple of times, is small enough to fit in my armour pack which is a suitcase. Products not from Trooperbay, just a sticker I stuck on the lid.

Nice work Code, helmet interior looks nice and clean too.

In a couple of days we get another Star Wars series where we will see a combination of period costumes from the Clone and imperial era hitting our lounge rooms. This thread is for fun discussion and any anomolies or potential differences with our beloved Stormtroopers. Image of the FBFX workshop. These guys worked on Obi Wan and now Andor, bringing other characters like those pretty cool Purge troopers to life

I still use the original mic it cam with, but I do have a headset mic for my PC, I should try and see if it works.

Yes i did forget to mention that the icomm will still leach power from the amp, and as Glen pointed out, they specifically call out the Aker brand as compatible.

Icomm has an internal battery, the Aker has an internal battery. so both are powered. If you are referring to the external mod for a battery, that is simply to replace a failed internal battery on an icomm. As the icomm is not an amplifier, simply a modulator with clicks and chirps, you do require some form of powered amp, the Aker is just the weapon of choice due to its compact size and great volume.
