I'm wondering how the shins work for you. I'm only 6' but a lot of leg, and I've never gotten ATA/TE2 - which are similar to MTK to fit. In the end I swap them out with RT shins. Some day it would be great to get some longer TM legs - though I'm not sure how close the plastic would match. And yes, most people I know who are taller cut the cod and add a spacer which is hidden behind the belt.

I'm curious to know how the percentages of those who order work out e.g. what % choose one or the other. At least those I talk to, seems 1.5 is more popular, but I could be very wrong.

I'm saddened that anyone on FISD would make fun of anyone sporting FX armor. I created FISD where any and all 501st TK's can find fellowship, regardless of what armor they sported. Anyone who makes fun of someone else's armor is not living to the spirit of FISD.

IMHO this is still a staff fail. Being able to use sandy packs encourages people to do both costumes. I have no issue of making a game pack required for Centurion or even EI level, but to have it for base? That's just silly. Hopefully it will be re-instated next year. Either way I'll still troop HWT with my sandy pack. This was a real dis-service to our membership, and is not inline with the spirit of what the different levels were meant to denote.

A very underrated cast member, IMHO, but in a way all the more fun because all the pressure is on the leads like Dr. Frakenfurter, Brad, Rocky. Well, the DL at the time was not doing it - someone had to step on up... This is always good data to have. I can go back years to show what the FX percentages were back then and compare it to 2014. It clearly shows the decline of FX armor, particularly the helmet. And, I used to post the same poll on MEPD (hey, I was XO there at one time and the webmaster, why not). MEPD's numbers of FX have always been lower than FISD, yet no one seems to bash sandtroopers about it...

Well, that is the magic, no? Built in blueooth mike/speakers in the helmet so no wires. Even better with using John Danters PTT ear switches to toggle between VOX/phone, and mic tip speakers.

Not a 501st member (it came up as discussion in our garrison), but still neat to see nonetheless. Best guess it's a well heeled fan as that paint job looks professional, and the suit is commercial made.
