Sorry to hear this, you could post in the For Sale area but you need at least 5 forum posts to do so

There have been a lot more references and conversations since this post back in 2019 You would need to reach out to our Detachment Leader for more information @Sly11

EVA foam stormtrooper armor build
gmrhodes13 replied to Cheeseballs's topic in Other Non-Approved Star Wars Costumes
Amazing what can be made with foam, hope you had a great time -
Nice work on the painted mic tips, you may want to trim the bolts down a little, can interfere with microphone when putting helmet on and off. Your bottom screws may need to be changed for smaller ones or put in a different spot, depending were your ears will cover, there's not much extra room under that area.

Many find they have to make some adjustments, I do commission builds locally and I've been pretty lucky with most being around my size, I still like to get a mid build trial fit just to get any tweaks addressed. Good to see you are making the adjustments and taking them in your stride

Admiral Snackbar's AM 4.5 TK ESB Build
gmrhodes13 replied to Admiral Snackbar's topic in ESB Build Threads
Lots of great build threads to follow and there's plenty of people.on the forum ready to chime in with info or references. Not a great deal of difference between a ESB and ANH, many purchase a few extra items and are able to swap between the two. Looking forward to seeing those BBB photos soon -
ShadyP's FOTK built thread (Backstage Props - preorder FOTK)

Personally would trim that piece off and glue behind then they would butt together. If the step was inside it would have worked better. -
Great he's happy to update. I think the only thing I didn't mention was the belt angle and longer abdomen so perhaps mention those to him as well

Hope you don't mind I stalked some of your social media photos and done a little review, I found a few things which are a little off with the files, thought I'd mention now before you go too far, I've also reached out to the designer as I have in the past with some helmet details which he addressed, it's a bit difficult having to use Google translate so I hope it's readable for him, (I only know cooking and bad words in french ), I've not had a reply as yet. Some comparisons and a few things I've noticed Angle of backplate also appears the backplate sits a little low on the back. Arm opening is quite large, also square on lower back corner. Angle of the join between chest and back plate lower sides Also angle of the lower sides of the chest and back plate. Detail lines on side of ab should be angled. I've mentioned the chest/back and the abdomen would be great if these were separated to allow for bending. I'm also looking at the angle of the belt on the sides, I would think the ab would also need this angle so the belt would cover it fully

Review of pre-approval pics
gmrhodes13 replied to Jeffnmar's topic in TK Pre-Approval Questions & Discussion
Just a few things you could adjust, more for higher levels. Shoulder bell gap on your left arm could be reduced so they match your right side. Watch the gaps between your elbows and at wrists, both aren't matching at present Your shoulder straps are very flat from the side with little on the back plate and they could do to be curved to lay flatter. Belt could come up a little. Drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt Slightly tighter strapping between your ab and kidney plates. Butt plate has a small overlap but also being pushed away, perhaps tighter strapping or V tabs Backplate slightly overlapping kidney Helmet gap showing neck (you mentioned you are looking at this), not sure if you have a neck seal on, if you can't reduce the padding I would wear a balaclava Watch the closing of your back shins they are stepped. Also make sure your detonator is centered. Looks like the detonator clips could be a little long too, can see one on the left side. Gaps on your detonator don't look right, also could do to be rotated to show more of the O detail A solution from @Chemi in another thread 1. Remove the clips and trim off the ends (you can use a hacksaw). 2. Trim end caps. 3. Move the clips to where the ends meet the bottom of the control pad and next to the end caps. . 4. Drill holes in the clips for the new screw position. 5. Re-attach the screws. All in all pretty good, just some adjustments which you find will a lot of commission builds Good luck when you apply for approval -
Best way to do it, I gather your first tagging is something taken very seriously in the UKG and nobody really wants to remove and reapply them

You can also check out some of the build threads, you will find many have the makers name in the title and add images of what they receive -
Make sure you rough up the glove and hand guards with some rough sandpaper to give the glue something to grip too. As I mentioned in the post above yours it depends on the make of glove and hand guards, I've had to use all different glues at times.

Always best to size the legs while you have boots and the rest of the armor on, you can make initial cuts but for fine tuning it's a must. Shin trimming from the bottom is correct and the top for thighs.

There is an image limit here on the forums, most of us use a free online image host Imgur, once your images are loaded there you copy and paste the links to your images directly into your post -
Normally this gap is reduced by adjusting the fit between the front and backplates, you would have to remove the screws on the side of the helmet and behind the ears to adjust. But you could even out the gap by adding some small strips of material in the side which is touching, if you add something there it will open that side up which would in turn reduce the gap on the other side. But it is barely noticeable and I'd personally just leave it.

Most add elastic to the boots and inside the bottom of the shins with snaps or velcro For arms elastic off centre on the top works best, as they had with the originals
