  2. Something still off with your TD the gap is very small, perhaps check the end cap width. Comparison You are correct about the clips, perhaps open them up a little so the drop down further on the belt. Drop box alignment is much better
  3. Nice work with the ABS paste. One thing that stands out which I didn't notice previously is your cover strips, they don't appear to be central to the thigh, this may come up at higher levels Reference comparison Here is the gallery for reference for mobility cut outs
  4. Nice updates. Quest Design appear to supply a nice looking blaster, hope they are around for a while
  5. Looking good, just a couple of minor dressing/fitment issues, also a few things for higher levels you may want to adjust but should be ok for base approval: I would drop your forearms a little, they are touching your biceps and you also have a large gap at the wrists. Belt could come up a little, should either touch or be just under the last button on your larger ab plate. Thigh is hitting your sniper plate, adjust the gap or add some foam behind the sniper plate to help push it away from the thigh. It also looks like you have more gap on your shoulder bells on the left side to the right, could even these out Ideally with cover strips we try to cover all the raised section, yours stop short on the thighs, may not be an issue for base approval but may be mentioned at higher levels Plastic belt section is on a lower angle than the fabric belt. Also noticed your belt button covers are a little thick. Ideally there should be no gap between your ab and kidney but shouldn't be an issue for base approval Drop boxes aren't quite in line with the end of the plastic belt. Noticed your butt plate is just sticking up over the belt, using tighter strapping or adding V tabs may help You have some bunching/wrinkling on the belt at the end of the plastic section. Detonator isn't sitting central, also a bit high and could be rotated to see more of the O detail. Also check the dimensions as there doesn't seem to be enough gap between the endcaps and control panel Backplate being pushed away, may need tighter strapping. Could also get the rear of the shoulder straps to sit against the backplate. Butt plate is sitting very low, you may need tighter strapping between the butt and cod, as is you may hit your thighs when moving. There is also some undersuit showing bottom of your shin closure The vocoder center rise is a little higher than the others. Also double check there is not paint on the gums, a couple look very close Bottom ear screw head on an angle, not flush with ear End of brow trim on helmet is sticking upwards, not so bad on the right but left is a lot. May be the hear is sitting too high. Also when taking photos try to rotate your legs straight so your coverstrips are centered Normally a gloss or satin black is used on the blaster, shouldn't be a problem for basic Henglster is sitting too low Once again great work and good luck with approval
  6. I found this out the hard way too, didn't realize at first there were different length posts depending on what snaps you purchase, hopefully that solves your issues.
  7. May need a DO to jump in on this question @justjoseph63 @Chemi @TKSpartan, personally I'd see if I could move the button cover over a touch, it is a little close to the inner side and then you could trim the end. If you look at this image notice there is quite a bit of room between the button cover and inner side, a little more than you have. Better to check with the DO's just in case
  8. Your button covers look a little to be positioned too far to the inside, they should be more central or closer to the outside of the belt.
  9. Vendor info is current, as to the differences between the armor well that's up to the purchaser to research. RS has the most info as they had access to an original suit so they would be the most original looking. From the first post: "First and foremost... There is no one 'best' armor. There is a 'best' armor for *you* depending on a few factors: 1) Your budget 2) What your body size is (yes, different armors lend themselves for different body types) * 3) How experienced are you at building armor 4) It's not the kit, it's how it's fitted to the wearer that counts * While FISD does not endorse any particular armor maker, below are sellers who have proven themselves time and again in terms of customer service, honesty, and quality. All makes below can be made to be both 501st and FISD acceptable." Some research needs to be undertaken when looking to purchase, best way is to have a look through build threads, most have the makers initials in the title, or look at some of the EI and Centurion threads, again most have the makers initials in the title. Good luck with the research.
  10. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper
  11. Return edges thread is a great resource Also some references in the Gallery sections

  13. Been back and forth with the designe over the last couple of daysr, looking much better now. Also had him bring the detonator in closer and add a missing detail on the top
  14. Look normal to me. Thighs are normally glued, although they are seen coming apart in a few scenes, here's just one from TROS
  15. You can use a little heat to help them lower Some references of length
  16. Correct, bringing the chest up a little and shortening the elastic should bring it closer. Issue with the rear is you don't really have room to bring everything down, unless your butt plate can come down but it looks like you are already hitting your thighs. How tall are you as AM is built for the large build? Only real option would be take some material out of your kidney plate as James commented. Cricket has a nice build to follow A few other builds you may find helpful on sizing : https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42868-sha-shas-wtf-anh-stunt-build-complete/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38842-fragarocks-rs-stunt-build-not-to-scale/
  17. AM is the biggest armor out there so it will be higher than other makes of armor, really depends on the height of the wearer, this bunching up at the back happens with other makes of armor for those of a slightly shorter stature. How tall are you Jeff?
  18. Let the stalking of delivery trucks commence
  19. You have a couple of options there, contact the armor maker for a new ab plate, or glue a piece of abs plate behind, then add abs paste to the join, sand and polish. Going through the armor maker could be the easiest option
  20. It's looking better. The padding in the top of my helmet is only 10mm thick and a very squishy foam, you really don't need much at the top at all, I find padding on the sides and front is enough. Just comparing your side image to others, notice your chest is quite low and the back plate is up high, the chest should really come up and pull backwards. In fact you could probably drop all the back pieces, backplate, ab and butt plate. Here's my last EIB, notice how high the chest is and tilted backwards at the top. And here is an AM, notice the height of the chest and although his helmet is angled it does clear as the chest is further back
  21. In the image with helmet on the helmet is angling downwards at the front quite a lot, you may find you have too much padding, tilting it upwards so it's straight may help Here you can see it better and gives a big gap at the rear. Also notice the shoulder straps are flat and angled up. Shoulder straps should be more curved. Is there anything behind your chest? aker amp or other items, if not you may need tighter strapping at the shoulders to help pull it inwards.

  23. I didn't see a definite NO, the LMO's requested a different helmet so there may still be a chance but @Sly11 would be able to shed more light to this
  24. Hello and welcome aboard, take a look at a few of the build threads, you will find many have the makers names in the titles, will give you a better idea of sizing, you can also look in this area, information on sizing can be found there
