I would leave the metal parts of the rivets attached to the pauldron and just paint them black. Easy fix!2 points

RWA Creations also sell larger parts which include extra inches here and there. This includes kidney and ab, as well as shoulders, butt, thighs. :-) https://www.facebook.com/groups/rwacreations/?ref=share2 points

Hey Christian Mark from AP (authenticprops) sells armor with extra girth, you can find his sales thread here2 points

Back when The Force Awakens hit the cinemas I built my own SE-44C Blaster. It is still the only blaster I have that goes with my First Order Stormtrooper. A few days ago I got the idea to build electronics that fit inside the small blaster. I printed it hollow, so there is some room for electronics. However, space is very limited inside. I will reprint some parts to maximize the available space. Additionally I'll get a pcb made which will hold the main components and keep things clean an organized. Having a mess of cables inside the small space would make things even more complicated. So this is where I currently am. From left to right: Mock up of the pcb to test sizing, current Glock sled with new hollow end cap behind it, Glock receiver with microswitch for the trigger installed, electronics on a breadboard. Currently I'm finalizing the new sled to fit all the main components:1 point

Nice work I also added some electronics to my blaster, although I just hacked at it with a Dremel1 point

I had this same issue with 2 different email addresses on different domains. Neither worked. But then I tried a GMail address and it went right through. Might try that.1 point

I have had dental issues in the past, and worked with kids who have had allergies. So I prepared some alternative treats instead of candy for some kiddos. Legos were from a kit I had, they're like $5 a piece. But I found a bunch of toys at Ross, and each Hasbro figurine came out to under $2 Think the kiddos will like?1 point

I use a similar snap from Spotlight but have found over the last few years the quality has dropped slightly, I do advise anyone to use the double snap method that way if you do have a failure you have a back up next to it . Also before using the tool to open the post just give a light tap with a Philips head screwdriver first, it will allow the post to open a little more, then once you have used the snap tool find a bolt head or rod which fits in the recess and tap completely flat.1 point

Well, we've had calls out for CRL edits for over a year and for most of my term I was doing monthly updates. If you have specific language you want to see, you are always free to submit it as: What is currently says: What it should say: Also, as you are probably already aware the CRLs - not just ours but any in the 501st - aren't meant to capture every possible variation or wardrobe issue, but the canonical character. Hence why Mr. No Stripes is not in the CRL, etc.1 point

No vendor that I am aware of sells pre-shimmed kidney plates, Christian. A lot of it depends in how much extra ABS you need to add, It may seem like a pain in the posterior plate to do, but shimming the kidney is not an insurmountable obstacle. Here is a thread that may help: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/47793-kidney-plate-shimming-help-needed/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-6717711 point

So this is The next part of the build update. Painted and did an assembly on each individual parts before I hit a snug. The holes between the glock slider and the body piece wasn't deep enough hence there's an awkward gap. Tomorrow once I receive my Dremel keyless chuck, will make the 2mm hole deeper with 1.5-2mm drill bit. As you can see with paint on, everything looks flawless due to the no to little print lines in SLA printed props while maintaining details A tip, to apply a dash of super glue on the small metal rod @ the trigger. This way it will keep the rod from sliding out. Thanks for reading and hope you are inspired. If you ever need an SLA print of this blaster, you may visit my page to get one for yourself, The Imperial Factory: https://www.facebook.com/ImperialFactory/ Sent from my Redmi K20 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

It's probably the Rogue One variant though. So a slightly different blaster than the one from the iconic ANH promotional pictures and the unofficial FISD mascott we all love. Cool nonetheless.1 point

He also made the one and only FISD tri-fold brochure entirely on his own time and dime so they'd be ready for Celebration (I still have a few). He worked on Albin's TE2 armor (I think he did most of it) and built a fantastic E-11 conversion. He was a maker and someone who put a lot of time in energy in helping others. You can search for his post history and this will be born out. It's tragic that he did not have access to the care that would have helped him overcome his demons. Truly sad to know, but hopefully his memory will live on as a huge supporter of our detachment and community.1 point

What I like the most about watching new Star Wars trailers: - it brings back the excitement of a child at Christmas - the Lucasfilm Ltd. logo appears and expectations rise - the music, the pictures and the sounds make you feel home - tears of joy - and finally goose bumps all over Sometimes a trailer can cause more fascination, than the whole movie itself. Let's hope it will be different with this (last?) episode...1 point

Not necessarily. You can just have the rivets in the side "for show," and do your strapping using snap plates as you would elsewhere, ignoring the rivets altogether. A.J.1 point

Wet sanding is not the end all but is good for a few reasons,. It reduces dust in the air, lungs, eyes, etc. Increases sandpaper longevity, and highly important in my book it reduces the possibility of particles getting trapped under the primer and paint. Speaking of paint, if you elect to pro paint you'll definitely want every spec of dust removed from every crack prior to even priming. Other than that good ole (non wet) sandpaper works just fine and 400 grit is highly recommended as it provides a good bonding surface with the primer and paint. Hope this helps1 point
