DroidHunter
Probably not a shock, but according to CBM: Latino Review's latest Star Wars piece speculates that ******* will be killed off in Episode VII. I think that's quite likely myself, and Dave offers up some interesting reasons as to why he feels that will happen -- but along with that he also includes some even more interesting scoops: He's hearing that the original trilogy Storm Trooper armor has been assembled for the production down in the United Arab Emirates..which means of course, we're getting Storm Troopers. jannick
No CGI-troopers. If true, this would be the best news, since Irvin Kershner joined the director team.

usaeatt2
If true, this would be the best news, since Irvin Kershner joined the director team. I didn't know who Irvin Kershner was, so I looked him up. Joining the director team might be tough since Irvin Kershner died on November 27, 2010. Jannick, did you mean that this would be the best news since Kershner directing ESB in 1980? If so, I agree!

Rich330[TK]
I think it's widely accepted and established that Abrams wants to use more live actors/costumes/models etc. as opposd to digital effects. If stormtroopers do indeed feature, I imagine we should prepare ourselves for two realistic eventualities ... 1. Exploitation of the stock of intact "tour suits" (or even reproduction base don tour suits), i.e. lots of ROTJ-style TKs 2. A batch of new stormtrooper costumes created from scratch Let's be honest here, we're a sensitive bunch and, when it comes to TKs we find it hard to approach anything with a truly open mind, this could be great or, depending on your relative sensitivity or puristic nature, could get pretty traumatic for some. TK8776 jgarrettg
I will slit my wrists in the theater if it turns out Rubies was called in to supply the armor. Now I'm scared.
CRISTONAMO
I heard CFO sent one of their completed suits to JJs team for 'inspiration'.
joshsurf[TK]
Have faith my brothers! I think we are in good hands. We may get some new phase of stormtrooper armour to advance things a little. I doubt that the empire will still be using the same suits in 30 yrs time , they would be outdated then, and I'm sure would have developed more advanced armours. I'm guessing they will be similar to TKs but with slight differences. TK mk2 anyone?
spree610[501st]
Hopefully they've taught stormtroopers to shoot straight by then too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thxboy
I would add that maybe this time the "armor" might have more stopping power than protection from a strong breeze. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
