  1. My garrison has easily 15+ active RS props troopers in it.
  2. I love your thread D! Thanks for the awesome update. You're a pleasure to troop with and you make a great TK.
  3. Now THAT is an impressive......Vader. ;-) Sent from the Death Star
  4. Anything with wheels is a good thing. [emoji1]
  5. Lol! Thanks Eric! Check out bikerscouts. I have a TB in the works for myself!
  6. Biceps and forearms are assembling well this week. I cannot for the life of me figure out which shin is which! In the AM 2.0 the overlaps are all gone so I really cant figure this out. Can anyone tell me which pieces are right leg and left leg? Also how wide should be coverstrips be for shins and thighs?
  7. Looks great Jeff! Hope GML approves you soon.
  8. Which is why you pointed me to post #30? Geesh.
  9. Didn't really answer my question. I read almlost all the posts and I do understand your accuracy is higher than the rest but I was wondering if there is something about your materials or manufacturing process that warrants the doubling of price or if you are pricing what the market will bear based on yours being the more accurate. Just wondering.
  10. So, I have a dumb question. Why is Gino's track double the price (on average)?
  11. It worked out great! I started by attaching the grey mounting tabs that came with it to the liner with a small piece of blue masking tape to hold them in position. Next I placed the liner into the bucket and marked the position I wanted it in with dry-erase marker. I used hot glue to attach. Hot glue the front of the liner first (closest to eyes) and let dry a minute or two. Then glue the back of the liner in place. I let it cure forms day and it's rock solid. Still very adjustable and since KY isn't over all the time for fittings I think it's a great solution.
  12. Also, how much return edge would you guys leave on the upper and lower bicep? Thanks!
  13. Ok. Biceps ar a bit confusing I know the thumbprint goes on the left side but is there any difference between the two haves of the outer bicep?
  14. Trimmed the left and right forearms. Do I have these right (left on left, right on right)? RL] I think the wrist feels huge. Trim more???
  15. Got the hard hat liner installed. That was a nice feature of this kit. I had him order the hard acrylic green lenses from trooper bay. I think they look and hold up much nicer than the thin green film included.
  16. Here are pics of the bucket. The left ear came out well and the right ear was "ok". Not my best but not the worst either. All the details I hand painted.
  17. Hey guys! So firstly this is NOT my armor, it's a buddies! I am one of the local Vader's in my garrison and a friend has always wanted to join the 501st so I told him I would help him build his TK! He picked up the AM2.0 kit and between the two of us we are working through it slowly. I have lots of experience in building my Vader and I've done a few buckets so I felt pretty comfortable doing a lot of the heavy lifting for him. Hey, if Vader needs to he gets his hands dirty!! I already build the bucket and I just made the first cuts and test fit on him for biceps and arms. Pictures coming. All help would be greatly appreciated!!!
  18. Paint on the ears looks great! See I knew you had a steady hand.
  19. Update - waiting for an AP run but in the meantime I finally got vader approved and am now a member of the 501st! SL 11379 http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=17224&costumeID=95
  20. ABS paste should work out. If that fails I wonder if you could use this photo to try and sway the opinions of the powers that be. I see several buckets that have 5 holes on a side. No idea if they made it to the screen but who knows?
  21. Looking good! The only thing that caught my attention was the number of teeth. You should only have 4 holes per side assuming you are doing a stunt trooper.
  22. Not going to paint? I was nervous about painting up mine but the stencils from trooperbay work great and I love the hand painted look. :-)
