I have a pair of the Endor Finders gloves. They are good quality and they have the accurate black stitching.

Great suggestions. I will try both of one of the larger pieces I have trimmed off.

I was anticipating using Novus 2 plastic polish to polish my Denuo Novo (DN) armor, but I recently heard of someone using headlight polishing compound. Does anyone have any experience polishing DN armor? What were your results?

You're off to an excellent start! Keep up the great work.

Denuo Novo Now Offering Assembled FOTK Armor...
Fumanchewie replied to TheRascalKing's topic in TLJ Stormtrooper
I have seen one of these kits in person. Overall it was well trimmed and decently put together, however; the two things that I think are the biggest drawbacks are the armor is not assembled based on the individual wearer size and body type and the second, some of the assembly methods would not hold up for trooping an event. -
Great build so far. Thanks for sharing

A sad day for FISD Our dear friend Terrell Reber
Fumanchewie replied to Sly11's topic in Announcements
I’m saddened by this news. I never met him in person but I have two kits made by him. They have now become more precious to me. Terrell was the type of guy that did things the right way. He was a well respected prop maker. His presence will be missed. -
This is the best tutorial I have come across for ears. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Joseph.I just bought a heat gun for another project. I will test it on some scrap ABS first. So after you heat them up you let them cool on their own?

As the title indicates I am working on ATA armor and I have the shins nearly finished. I am test fitting them now and they close well and can be held closed with tape. But I am nervous because they are in constant compression when closed that I will have problems with them comining apart when walking or inconveniently in the middle of a troop. What can I do to fix this? I have seen some builders use boiling water but I have seen good and terrible things happen because of it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Anovos ANH TK Helmet only $100.00 USD.
Fumanchewie replied to PGHtrooper21's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
The wonky or crooked look may be accurate depending on what portion of helmet in the Lucasfilm archive they are trying to replicate. Because every suit and helmet has minor variations I think they replicated portions of suits and helmets to capture the asymmetry as described on their site. The attached photo is the back of a sandtrooper helmet from the archives that has the wonky or crooked back. -

Congratulations. You may want to revisit the ears on your helmet. They look a little thick.
