  1. Haven't found one in a Myer store in Brisbane yet, looks like they are $199.00 Australian though.
  2. Check the list of our approved vendors for the details of what is available. AM is definitely a thicker armour if you are after durability, but any of the makers supply a decent product all at varying prices. Who to avoid
  3. Just an FYI, the image Chris has shared is the composite view, every part is broken down into the correct pieces so you can print and assemble the same as you would a vac formed kit. Chris has printed and pulled the helmet as can be seen in the images a few posts above so we have a better idea of how it can look in ABS.
  4. Happy New Year Troopers. 2020 was a challenging year for everyone, and I would like to thank you all for being here on FISD and supporting this wonderful community. 2021 hopefully gets better and better as the days go by and we can all see something that resembles a more normal life again. Stay well, stay safe, look after your family and keep paying it forward where you can
  5. This looks more accurate than the Anovos TLJ helmet. The Jib and beak shape on this looks much closer to screen because Anovos simply changed the beak and added the teeth to their TFA helmet shape.
  6. Welcome to FISD James, I see our troopers have set you on the right path, good luck with your journey.
  7. OT TK armour needs some flex to deal with the rigors of trooping. I have not yet seen an OT armour 3D printed and trooped in nor approved. Those that are modeling the armour would simply use the printed components to start bucks for pulling in ABS. The difficult prospect of 3D modelling and printing armour that was sculpted and organically created will be the biggest challenge to get it to look similar to the rest of the vac formed armour currently available. Good luck on your journey and welcome to FISD.
  8. Hi Kaden, The Phasma CRL's need a lot of work and we rely on our resident experts to help with this process. This year has been very tough on some of those, so unfortunately the project has not been able to move forward as far as we would have hoped. These CRL's are long overdue and will take time to make them just right, I know members dont want it rushed this time around as it was originally, and yes we want to have a good EI and Centurion level fleshed out as these costumes so rightly deserve.
  9. I’ve heard of Count Dooku pajamas from the game never Anakin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I can say this, there are already GCO's who are saying this will never be a legion costume, and they will fight it in council. I guess some have forgotten this is a make believe hobby and the simple fact Legion is NOT THE RPF. In saying this, I have not spent any time looking closely at these dark troopers so they may well be rather impossible to replicate as a costume but people are clever and may come up with something plausible. I've seen costumes where the actual game render looks like it could have been a sewn suit yet some have screen printed this and it has passed as a costume. Missing pieces might be the big challenge though considering you cant cut chunks out of your body.
  11. Congratulations Alex, welcome to Centurion sir
  12. Congratulations Alex!
  13. Merry Christmas sir.
  14. Welcome to FISD Angus! Good to get a head start on your TK journey and have it ready to go by the time you hit 18, makes it a nice and quick approval into the 501st if your costume is ready to go. You will find everything you need here, and plenty of extreme knowledgeable members eager to help. No doubt you will get some great support from our resident Swede "TheSwede" TK99665 Daniel, he has a keen eye for detail and is the current GML of the Swedish garrison, and may be the one who approves your costume for the 501st. Enjoy the journey.
  15. Nice progress Greg
  16. Congrats again Daniel.
  17. I will say that some of Walts kit are notorious for not going together easily, so I am interested to see our first build thread on his FOTK. Just because a maker produces something new doesn't give them automatic approved vendor status for that kit, it will come under peer review just like all before it. Looking forward to some build threads and positive feedback from those working on them.
  18. Congratulations Daniel, welcome to centurion.
