  1. I'd say they look pretty darn good. Make sure you are aligning the tops not the bottoms, those will get a minor trim when the time comes. Make sure the top inner edge of the ridge doesn't dig into you to much else while walking it could rub and either become annoying or slowly wear through your under suit. Good to see you have wrapped them outside half over inside because once you get to trimming and adding the rear cover strips that how they will need to close. You are doing fine Rod, just fine.
  2. You are most certainly on the right track Rod and we know the fear all too well :). Dividing down the center overlap is correct and you do want to mark that while it is taped around your leg so you know the size is right. If you are still concerned cut shy of the lines you have marked, then resize to make sure. Far better to take off too little then to cut straight to the line and realise you needed to leave a touch more room. These parts dont need to fit snug to your legs and in fact are better for your overall movement if they have space to slip and slide if that makes sense. You have done a really great job so far, be confident in your trimming and afterwards you will be proud of the progress.
  3. Glens advice is spot on, give that a try before anything else. looking sharp David.
  4. Not sure why the second image isn't showing but from what I can see it looks good. Very clean build to I must say.
  5. Can we please see an image of the shin on your leg. This will give us some perspective for adjustment and trimming, far better than the images we currently see. Perhaps one from the rear and one from each side showing the full length should do it.
  6. Beautiful work Chuck, congratulations sir, well deserved.
  7. I've said it before on your FB post, but again, outstanding work on these precision engineered carry cases Colin. Cant tell you how much I love them and to also have a build thread for them here is something the detachment is well and truly grateful for.
  8. If your concern is with the way it twist at the top so they dont align, please dont worry. This is relatively normal with several kits. tape the shin closed so the top aligns then add your pencil mark at the bottom where you need to trim so the bottoms once cut will also align. You will want to follow the contour of the shape at the bottom of each half in the event you find them too long anyway. Don't worry if they are a touch too big for you in girth, foam padding can sort that issue out if they twist while wearing them. have a look on my build thread from page 4 onward for some images and ideas of how i went about it.
  9. Damn Ardeshir, you are on fire!!, and those photos are so perfect. Good luck sir.
  10. Correct, minimum 5 posts before you gain access to sections of the sales threads.
  11. That's a cool project, cant wait to see the finished version.

  13. Hi Logan, just a quick glance and more will chime in shortly but the FX helmets were grandfathered in about 2 years ago now and as such are no longer approvable as far more accurate representations are very readily available.
  14. Nail biting stuff folks, can you believe only 8 more centurion approvals and we are at 500 of our highest approved rank. Keep those applications coming in people so we can again celebrate.
  15. Congratulations Scott, great to see we have a TKC joining the Centurion ranks
  16. Generally what this means is you have one leg stronger than the other. This can be caused by an injury sustained at some time and various muscle groups compensate for others. i was a cyclist, road and Criterium racer for years and have seen plenty with thighs or calf muscle at different sizes. Your leaner leg may well be the one doing the extra work so it has less fat and stronger fibers than the other. Generally isolated weights will expose the difference in strength which in turn will give you a program of specific exercises to do to bring balance to the left and right legs. Eventually the size difference will decrease but everyone does tend to favor either their left or right for work load.
  17. Very nice Eric, Nico's work is always first rate. love some of the latest files he has produced

  20. Welcome back James, we are here to help.
  21. I simply use black insulation tape so it is easy to remove the mesh and clean the inside of my helmet every now and then. It has never let me down.
  22. Beautiful work Chris.
  23. Beautiful work Caleb, glad you are still finding time to work your way through this build. Amazing detail and a very clean build thread as well,
  24. Imgur is one of the more popular hosting sites and easy to use. Definitely follow Joseph tutorial it is the way to go.
