  1. Great news Brian, good luck on your new journey. Don't forget to start a build thread so you can ask for advice as you go, and post plenty of images of your progress. Most use a photo host application called IMGUR Use this thread below in case you haven't use it before as a simple guide to adding photos to your posts. Use this
  2. Sand that up and good to go sir.
  3. I'll be jumping on this one as soon as it's available. can never have enough SW books.
  4. Early versions of the TK bucket also had additional parts moulded to the rear that never got screen time.
  5. That's pretty cool Tim, nice work.
  6. Hi Michael You can actually trim some of that ridge off. Many of the screen used suits have a portion of that area removed for mobility and comfort. ANH screen shot of ridge trimmed away for mobility and comfort
  7. This so truly amazing Adam, level of detail is exceptional.
  8. Don't forget you can also use body weight for various exercises and stretches. Remember that a little more flexibility will help you gain other strengths as well as help reaching those awkward to get to clips and straps. Things like active stretching help burn calories at the same time you are improving range of motion. Correct stretching techniques are important as is body weight strength exercises to decrease the chance of strain injury which hampers your progress. I was a martial arts instructor for a few years so reach out to me if you need ideas for some of the above. Just DM me
  9. Only an FYI so everyone is on the same page. I have been discussing a few minor details on these files with Chris from a separate thread we have running in staff area. As always Chris has taken everything on board and is continuing to tweak the files. I think its suffice to say many of us would love to see this come full circle, and I'd wager no one more so than Chris himself. Thanks for all the work you have poured into this project mate, keep it up
  10. Excellent Dan, I took the liberty of pinning this post so we don't lose it.
  11. Good to see you are still with us and on this journey Piers.
  12. Welcome aboard Kyle, you are in the right place for support and the TK research hub of the galaxy. Good luck on your journey to becoming a Stormtrooper.
  13. Its a pity their cheaper plastic versions were considered more accurate than the very expensive and quite heavy fiberglass helmets. I wouldn't mind a TLJ Anovos plastic variety even though it in itself isn't accurate due to the shape of the jib (chin) under the beak.
  14. Topic is now released, please update your post when ready
  15. Can you post a link to your thread here, or will it not allow you to ?
  16. Welcome aboard Jonathan, it's a pleasure to have you as part of our mighty detachment.
  17. @themaninthesuitcase you need to get into the "it" crowd of the UKG, Gary knows something about that
  18. This is wonderful news Brit, congratulations, you look fantastic. Don't forget to request 501st access to the forums so you can see our members only areas. Here is the link
  19. Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic!!!!!
  20. Nice work Ray, excellent to see the stock being used.
  21. Welcome aboard Dimitri, you wont be disappointed with the RS armour.
  22. Fantastic news Daniel, congratulations and welcome to the 501st.
  23. R1 TK and FO TK are very different, it's ok to love both for what they are, I know I do. Both sets of armour are also vastly different and each has it's own differing construction methods and intricacies so their is a lot to like. Maybe start off with what captured your imagination first, work through that and once done and you become an approved 501st member, then focus on the next project. Like many once you have completed one, you will most certainly be looking for another to get cracking on. Welcome aboard Michael.
  24. Welcome to FISD Arvin, we are here to assist you where we can.
