  1. Glad to hear the AM armor has improved again, looking forward to seeing the new parts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. If you do a pipe build, then you should be able to use the real bolt. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I think you can do this without too much trouble. Shins, definitely trim from the bottom, just follow the contour evenly around the base, to take off as much as required and maintain the shape. Thighs. If they are too long, trim these from the top, again following the contour so the shape remains the same. Biceps, trim from the bottom. Forearms. There should be a scalloped section on the inside where you bend your arm, you can keep taking more of this out, it is fine if the outside part goes past your elbow. Don't be concerned of taking off the return edges on these parts as the original armor didn't have any. Making these adjustments hopefully will make your armor wareable, and allow a good range of movement . Hope this helps a little. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Not accurate in proportions and shape I believe ,you can use ATA chest and back with AM armour, the colour is similar and your shoulder bridges can be attached properley. A few on here have done exactly that, so they could build to Centurion straight off the bat. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Good stats, thank Tim.[emoji106]🻠Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Tim, how are we on the Centurion numbers? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Send Mark a PM, he is AP. ABS80 here on the boards. I have AP and love it, I'm 5'10" and trimmed things a little, so it might be a good kit for you. Also try ATA, although I believe they have quite a long waiting list at the moment. Also MTK is a great option, seems to me you have quite a choice, good luck on your quest, it's heaps of fun. 8. If you delve a little deeper into this massive resource , you will find other makers here. With armour of varying sizes etc. You mentioned you take a large shoe size, how about your height and overall build? You see, different armour fits different sized people, example, AP (Authentic Props) fits a person with a 32-34 inch waist without need for modification. It is height suitable for 5'6 to 6, also with out the need for too much trimming or mods. AM armor on the other hand was designed with extra material to suit a larger trooper, as is RT-Mod, good for 6' plus, so you see , more research will yield a better result for you. Give us some dimensions and we can point you in a better direction. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  20. Hi Stu Here a tip to tidy up the few little runs or bleeds you have. Use Turps as it the most gentle of the thinners. Dip a toothpick in and gradually scrape the excess paint off. Remember to scrape towards the painted area, but I do suggest you wait a couple of days to make sure the paint is fully cured before you do this. It's really coming together now, keep up the good work
  21. Awesome job, congratulations and welcome to EIB rank. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. eBay also has loads of cheap compression gear. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. When you paint the frown, always remember to brush away from the tape, so you reduce any chances of paint bleed under the tape. It looks like you have used the correct tape for the job which is great, I on the other hand learnt the hard way and used the standard green painters tape. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Ear gaps are authentic, not a screen used helmet didn't have gaps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Hi Frostsord, there are many options available to you. There is a list of vetted makers in the getting started section. What part of Australia are you from? And have you signed up to your local garrison. You will find Good local support there as well. Happy researching. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
