  1. Hmmm interesting, shame this wan't carried through for the command staff to hand out to troopers, would be an incentive to become a more involved member of the forum
  2. You should also start a build thread in the appropriate area of the forum: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/6-anh-stunt-and-hero/ . This is only for building amd armor questions
  3. Assumed correctly you have, just the material part of the belt. Never hurts to ask, there are never any mistake questions, only mistakes made by not asking LOL

    Woohoo!

Now it's just the long wait and stalking of the mail man lol. Hopefully it won't take too long to get there
  5. Looking good so far. At first everyone is the same, the panic sets in that you will make a mistake and by the end you think what was all the fuss about lol. Biggest tip is research and if you can't find an answer then just ask. Good luck with the rest of your build
  6. You are welcome Can't wait to see the rest of your build
  7. Looking good, shouldn't have any problems with approval
  8. I think they look good, don't like them too slim, keep up the good work
  9. Congrats Si now get that next application going
  10. I had the same problem, as above just moved the snaps further forward on my shoulder straps and that seems to have fixed the problem
  11. ATA is awesome, ears are a pain, just sand little by little, you have two pairs of ears just in case lol
  12. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper, the extra work was well worth it
  13. Another one approved, who will be the last 3, almost there guys
  14. Congrat on approval Gonzalo welcome to the ranks
  15. Nice idea but why not just heat and bend the section of your armor which does not sit flat then you can have flat cover strips, would look better than a bend showing on the cover strip
  16. Mine is a bit different, had some disk removed from my spine, have a compressed spinal cord, bolts and rods now in my back, still get tingling in both my legs and back pain. I have an injection in my spine every 12 months, I have sympathy for anyone with back pain
  17. That looks heaps better, nice fix, it the little details that makes an armor build shine
  18. Looks pretty damm good to me, send them off for spproval ASAP, well done Si
  19. Be good if we could get a few other sizes too.
  20. I have never tried searching just ATA as normally I just go straight to the build threads. Just tried and if you type ata build it comes up but not just ata, one of those forum querks I suppose.
  21. I sewed mine to the elastic straps just to stop them moving around
  22. I used a some enamel paint and after fitting the armor a few times I have noticed some of it has rubbed off, going to try giving the rivets a light sand next time to help the paint hold and use humbrol paint as Clamps did
  23. I have a small frame so don't really have a problem so far with pinching, still need to attempt steps and stairs, that may be another story
  24. It's just a bit square on the ends of the curve, sand paper should work Sniper plate looks nice, gap under the front is quite a bit, maybe try half the thickness, definately pulls it up a lot, seems like it is nice and straight across the front too, well done
