  1. I use Birch heavy duty press fastener kits part no: 012831
  2. Or try some heat, works well to make the shape more oval like the left side. I just heated the sides then applied some pressure until they where oval. Allways test heating on scrap ABS first as it is stricky the first time you try. Consider putting some snaps on your belt to keep it central to you ab plate, helps to keep it up too. Going great can't wait to see you approved
  3. I know it's a bit of mucking around but if you coulld try to cut a piece of paper slightly larger than your foot then place it inside the boot, run your fingers around inside this will make an imprint on the paper then cut and try fitting inside again, this will give a better guide to the size inside the boot, which I think you will find different to the way you have measured them. Thanks Jenny
  4. Great work and great attitude Jenny, hope nobody takes offence when they recieve comments, I found them a help in my build. Keep up the good work.
  5. Looking good, hope to see your centurion application soon
  6. Just depends on how big your arms and legs are, I have a small frame so all those measurements worked for me but if you are larger you would need to make larger cover stips. Just biceps, forearms, thighs and shins have cover strips, I put a strip on the insides too for extra strength
  7. Just a couple of things, would try to bring your thighs up just a little more so you have a gap between them and the shins. Also your forearms seems a little big. Last one the drop box on your right side seems to be further back, may just be a photo ilusion. Nice work a bit of adjusting and you are there
  8. Aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper
  9. Looking very nice, only comment I would try to move your TD clips a bit futher out, the DO likes a 1/8 between them and the end cap. Keep up the good work
  10. I used decals as I don't have steady hands for painting, if I did then I would paint
  11. Looking good Jenny, most has been mentioned, just think you need a bit of adjusting, keep up the good work
  12. Thanks Jenny, that size seven seems a bit weird, inner looks like it would be 10 1/4 inches on the tape, my size 10 came up as 11 1/2 inches on tape. I cut paper and fitted inside the boot, that could be the difference.
  13. He must be changing the future when he goes back and has to try to fix it as he goes LOL. Wonder where he will be next. This was dated 1872
  14. This may explain it, ---------- A TK snuck a ride LOL
  15. Good luck, hope you don't have to wait too long.
  16. You make it, abs off cuts and acetone, thread here
  17. Couldn't see your photo you may not have loaded it correctly. You can do a couple of things when you have gaps, as the glue is quite rubbery you can remove the cover strip then re-trim and glue again, also glue a small piece of abs behind so you don't notice the gap as much, or make some abs paste and fill and sand the gap, info on the paste here
  18. That would be great Jenny, the more sizes on here the better You know in the fine print it says "may cause cancer", don't breath in too much
  19. We are down to one, time to chill the champagne
  20. Congratulations trooper welcome to the ranks
