  3. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD* New LEGO Rogue One Short Film and The Case of the Orange Crates in the Movie! Star Wars merchandising season is in full swing, and LEGO joins in on the fun as the December release date of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is quickly approaching! Hit the jump to watch Part 1 of a Lego short trilogy surrounding a mysterious orange crate that may play a vital role in the upcoming film. From LEGO‘s youtube page: I doubt there is anyone who thinks that a short LEGO film will reveal anything significant about the plot of Rogue One. Still, the case of these orange crates is rather interesting. Actually, the orange crates have been present in almost every video we’ve seen about Rogue One. First, we saw them via some leaked images shared by TMZ: Then, we saw a bunch of them in the BTS footage shown at Celebration Europe. First on Jedha: Then on Eadu: And finally on Scarif: We also saw these crates in the Go Rogue fan film: And of course in the current video: All this suggests one thing…. these crates probably don’t have any significant purpose in the movie. They are probably just typical storage crates for equipment, weapons, ammunition, etc. Also, keep in mind that even though we see a Hovertank with this crate on Scarif in this video, we have only previously seen this vehicle in action on Jedha (as is seen in the trailer and in the LEGO set below). Are these orange crates important? Could there be something hidden in them that will be used in the plot of the actual movie? Story from: SWNN
  4. E6000 without a doubt, easy to rub off if you have excess and easy to get parts apart if you make a mistake or need to adjust. Downside you have to leave clamped for 24 hours to dry completely
  5. Can never be said enough times DON'T BUY FROM EBAY
  6. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  7. I have had success with silicon, bondo and abs paste, all have their pros and cons, just depends how handy you are. For any of them you will need to put something behind, either tape or glue a scrap piece of abs before trying to fill the hole/s. With bondo or abs paste you will have the ability to sand, bondo dries a lot quicker but abs would be stronger
  8. Don't think you will find an out of the box complete baton, I have one of Peters kits (yet to be assembled) which is very detailed. I also made a pvc baton prior to anyone supplying them, it's pretty basic but the public doesn't see it so http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34154-tfa-stormtrooper-baton-build-not-accurate/
  9. I've seen a few people using a sharpie. You could also paint the whole section black then fill in the grey, it's a little easier than doing the thin line of black afterwards
  10. Welcome aboard trooper

  15. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  16. Looking forward to the progress, good luck
  17. Server problems I would say, seems ok now
  18. I had some armor wrapped in a black cloth and in some places it bled into the plastic, didn't realise at first and thought it was just marks from trooping.
  19. Looking forward to the progress
  20. Has some weathering around the ridges
  21. Here is a good tip http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23204-tip-on-tube-stripe-painting-with-no-bleed-through/?hl=bleed Paint white first and it fills in any bleed areas, then paint blue over the top
  22. Love it
  23. Love a big brown box, good luck with the build and remember measure twice and cut once
  24. Got an email from Toys R US Australia, the helmets are available for pre order
