  1. Pretty much the same setup as mine, I also glued a couple of angled pieces of ABS underneath them to make sure they could not fall down
  2. Definitely try to get some from the maker of your armor as there can be a lot of color difference from the different makers. AM contact details: [email protected]
  3. Looking forward to the progress and your thoughts on the kit
  4. I have noticed quite a few FOTK's wear a shoulder pouch (on screen and toys), they are very much like the OT Sandtrooper canvas MP40 pouch but by the look of it they are made in leather. Started making some templates Transfered to vinyl, back section glued 2 pieces of vinyl together for strength Holes punched and detail pieces added and sewn, also D ring added to side strip Bottom pieces of the front section glued Glued base of front on to back section Rest of the front glued and sewn, leaving overnight to dry completely
  5. Have a look in the getting started section here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  6. Nice work, I would suggest either some foam behind your shin to push out the sniper plate or some foam in behind the thigh to hold it back from the sniper plate, you will find it could catch the way it is. Good luck on approval
  7. I made my own working stock, not too difficult, this may give you some ideas http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20729-e-11-blaster-for-centurion-standards/
  8. Nice work, came out great
  9. Awesome another BBB, looking forward to the build

  11. Extra pair of hands and final adjustments made on the strapping In screen shots it looks like a connector is present on the back cross over but again I will wait for better reference photos before I add anything there.
  12. I have the same issue with side rivets, and sometimes ab buttons, touch up is just one of those things we do
  13. CRL does say: •The total length is approximately 7.50" (190.5mm). Really depends on how long it looks on but if you want it to look right, I'd trim it down
  14. Looking good, just a tip, don't have your bicep hooks too long, they will tend to catch on your armor sometimes
  15. Doesn't have to look pretty as long as it works Rubbing excess glue with your thumb will get that excess glue off
  16. I used straps there, separate straps worked better for me, allows you to just adjust one of the straps if they stretch over time.
  17. If you are worried about using an acetone or thinner you could just use a compound polish to hand buff off the paint
  18. There were bound to be differences and no matter what we say they won't be changed, a different maker of armor and of course just another opportunity for Disney to have a licensed costume maker supply the costume to the adoring fans, money, money, money. Personally I would have liked to have seen more of a cross over between clone to stormtrooper, I suppose it can be seen a little with the death and shore trooper helmets. Hey we could have ended up with Rebels series based TK's, they are the same era
  19. Thanks Walter Pouch drain eyelets attached, harness clips glued, and cover plates attached. Gone about as far as I can with this until I can find more reference photos, very happy the way it has turned out, can't wait to get out and troop with it.
  20. Looks great, looking forward to the progress
