  1. A cheap way to change speed is using different baterries/voltage but it will change how long they can last. I have two fans and normally only use one, second is for reaaly hot troops or when the first one goes flat. Dont think you will need to reduce the speed personally.
  2. For some reason the forum does not like the standard imgur links, if you right click, go to properties and copy that link, you will notice the link has an i in front of imgur the other links do not
  3. Nice fix with the brackets. E6000 is great on areas that need to flex but for anywhere that will require bondo I like to use JB Weld as it can be sanded but does not move. Coming along nicely, keep it up.
  4. Painters tape is a good substitute to use in those areas clamps don't reach. You can also reduce the pull of magnets by adding a little tape and scraps of ABS wrapped around them. You could also just use a magnet on one side and on the inside a metal ruler
  5. Great work, keep it up
  6. When adding photos make sure you use the "direct" link or alternatively right click and copy
  7. Nothing better than a BBB, looking forward to the progress, good luck.
  8. Here is also the positioning on belt
  9. A couple of threads on helmet sizing you may find useful: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27703-ata-helmet-size-comparison/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19778-large-head-what-helmet/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26959-sdsrs-helmet-q-eibcen/
  10. Sides came out really well, nice work. Gap between the backplate should be ok for basic approval, something you may need to address at higher levels. On the rear photo your left shoulder strap could do to be brought down closer to the armor. Hopefully you will be joining the ranks very soon.
  11. Looks like you just need a little tweeking, can see a small gap between your ab and chest plate, you may want to adjust your strapping. Belt is slightly crooked. Appears that the back of your shins are closing inside over outside, so you can see the closure from the side, they should be the other way around so the closeure is on the inside. You also have a big gap at your wrists, wouldnt hurt to bring your forearms down a little. Good luck
  12. You will find a lot of great build threads to follow innthe builds section. Looking forward to the progress, good luck.
  13. Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key to this hobby, yes there is a lot to read but its well worth it in the end. Good luck and hope to see a build thread from you soon.
  14. You may find the thinners in the new paint will react with the edges of the sanded older paint, you could try a section and see how it goes, if it does react then remove all of the older paint.
  15. You will find a lot of ROTJ build threads with the overlap method https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/84-rotj-build-threads/ Recent updates to the TKC CRL now allow both methods of assembly but most prefer the overlap due to ties to ROTJ armor.
  16. Here are some comparison shots, your teeth are a little wide and inside mic tips white. You could also remove a little more around the eyes, especially in the inner corners
  17. Nice work, just a couple of things, you can't really see much black border around your ears. You may need to extend the grey on the ends of the teeth. You may also be asked for a photo of your D ring on the end of the blaster. Belt boxes should be aligned with the end of the belt. Are the screws on your TD pan head, they look domed? A couple of things you could do to improve the overall look: Brow trim is a little high. Ideally the tube stripes should really be positioned a pencil width on the cheeks. Butt plate is sticking out from the back plate. Good luck with approval
  18. A nice clean build, don't see any hold-ups for basic, good luck with approval
  19. Here's a nice reference, you can see some return edge is left on a lot of places. Always good to check the gallery for reference photos and also other ATA builds, here's a few: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/45654-jezzas-ata-stormtrooper-commision-build/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42738-reapers-anh-stunt-build-ata-hopefully-to-centurion-level/?page=1 https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41644-missingnos-first-kit-build-ata/?page=1
  20. It's a good idea just to round off the sharp edges on the inner strips too
  21. Looking smart, I don't think you will have any issues, good luck with approval
  22. If they are a little tight you could try stuffing them with wet newspaper, make sure it is tightly packed and leave until dry, this can stretch the leather a little
