  1. A far cry from all that panic at the start, we all go through it and by the end wonder what the worry was all about
  2. When ever I want straight lines on plastic I use a metal ruler and clamps, then mark with a pencil, I trim with a Dremel with a cutting disc and use a flat sanding block along the cut line to make sure it is straight. A sanding block can be as simple as a block of wood with sandpaper wrapped around
  3. When ever in doubt check the gallery section, you will find a section just on the knee strip https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/album/23-knee-ammo-pack-a-new-hope/
  4. Congratulations Aaron
  5. You may want to add a little foam behind your sniper plate to hold it away from your thigh, it looks as if it may hit. Go out and have a blast, you definitely will know what will hit and bite once you have worn the suit for a while and interacted with younglings. Good luck
  6. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  7. Nice work, don't see any hold ups for basic approval
  8. Depending on what brand of snap they can be different post lengths. Came back with three packets from the same store and each packet was different in post length, really annoying Had to save some of the longer posted snaps for those to be added cosmetically to the armor just in case I can no longer find them.
  9. A small punch is great for making holes in plastic and tough belts Nothing worse than waiting for things to arrive in the mail
  10. Last pieces glued on Strapping attached, test fitted and nothing to adjust. Completely forgot to take photos of the finished kit. Armor now in Jerry's hands to continue with weathering.
  11. There could be two possible CRL's, animated and movie style, each would follow the screen references so both would be accurate in their own right.
  12. There could possibly two CRL's, animated and movie style.
  13. Hello and welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing the build thread soon.
  14. Scope and counter could come forward and counter could also be a little higher.
  15. Hello and welcome aboard
  16. Someone has to physically build one then have it submitted via their GML to the LMO team for consideration of becoming approved and then made model for the CRL before a CRL can go live
  17. Nice work, don’t forget a little white paint on those rivets
  18. ESB for L3 can we add no bicep hooks Biceps Biceps are fully closed. Overlap construction is only allowable for kits that come with the cover strip molded in to the part. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Biceps must be constructed using the butt joint and cover strip method. Overlap construction is not allowed. No bicep hooks present References But still had the bell elastic strap
  19. I believe the strap on the bells was still there, just a little hard to see in most images
  20. Congratulations trooper once again
  21. Also appears bicep hooks where no longer in use but I’ll leave that for the DO’s to comment on http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-ESB-stormtrooper-armor-helmets.htm
  22. A nice read here http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-ESB-stormtrooper-armor-helmets.htm
  23. Easy, check the requirements between both CRL’s, you’ll notice there are not than many replacements needed
