ATA pipe diameter is smaller than other makers so I tend to cut the pipe a little shorter as they can have a long appearance at 7 1/2

I find with the paste you never will match 100%, adding the extra acetone as well as the sanding makes the paste a slightly different colour. Someone posted the following a while ago: Rustoleum Painter's Touch semi gloss white. matches perfectly.

You can try a little heat or tighter strapping on the butt plate, you could also try attaching a V section of abs strips, only the end on the butt plate is glued, which still allows for movement, it will keep the butt plate held inward, here's the shape:

Had a chance on the weekend for Jerry to do test fit of the armor, strapping on chest needed adjusting, braces to add to the belt to keep the thighs up a little higher. Also needed to heat the left shin, pinching on the sides of Jerry's ankle bones, a little tweaking and done. We did encounter the Velcro on the back of the shins pulling off, never had any issues before with E6000 and normal Velcro, mine haven't move in 6 years, the glue had dried properly and could even see the imprint of the Velcro in the glue but it just didn't hold. Scrapped the old glue off and used a new tube in case the other was too old, also used a heavier industrial Velcro, waiting for the glue to dry now. Also added rivets and snaps to the belt for the holster. So that's pretty much it, we are done

Take your time and don't heat up too much, it can become too pliable and can be get misshaped easily if left in for too long.

Have a read here The Anovos armor was pre sold and there have been some very long delays, currently they are not taking orders but no doubt with some cancellations once they finally get them in there will be extras for sale.
