There where quite a few troopers included for some scenes in the first series of the Mandalorian, a thread about them here Jim uses a flexible fibreglass, has some give but can crack the more it is flexed. Some other supply ABS plastic but some of the detail pieces can be softer.

Looking good, note cover strip goes all the way on the front BUT stops under the top ridge on the rear. They also close outside over inside so the opening is not seen from outside

Nice work trooper, a few suggestions before the DO's get here You have quite a lot of room at the top of the thighs, you could move these upwards which would give you more room at the knees. Arms armor is at different heights, forearm covering hand plate. Belt could come up a tad, should sit just under the bottom button. Can see your shin closure on this image, shins should close outside over inside. Butt plate is sticking out There is some paint on the gums, should be removed from the CRL Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area You could also add some white paint to the rims of the hovi's Your bottom ab rivets are a little low and are not aligned with each other Nice work trooper, a few suggestions You could trim the inner curve on your sniper plate It's a bit hard to tell if you have the correct screws, should be slotted pan head Also screws could be closer to the ends of the clips Could you also post the following images, Close up sniper plate front and both sides Good luck with approval

It is also thought that the ESB version did not even have straps from the shoulders to biceps, as you can see in these references many are low or have rotated, but they definitely help while trooping -----------

TK-57899 ANH Stunt Requesting EIB Status [1012]
gmrhodes13 replied to KC Grim's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Nice work trooper, a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here: Your belt is a tad high, should sit just under the last button. You may want to bring your biceps down a little to reduce the gaps at the elbows. Your gloves should be over your shirt sleeves as they are sticking out of the forearms. TD could come down on the belt, it is sitting high. Shins are at different heights. Drop boxes are not quite at the ends of the belt. You may want to add some foam behind the sniper plate so it doesn't hit the thigh. There is some paint on the gums, should be removed from the CRL Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area Blaster T-tracks and grip where black plastic so would not have any weathering, appears you may have some weathering on the top T-track. Also counter is a little too far back. Once again these are suggestions Good luck with approval. -
Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks

My first ANH TK Build-Assistance Welcome! (ATA)
gmrhodes13 replied to Phat Rob's topic in ANH Build Threads
Adding your shoulder straps should be done after most of your armor is complete and on, you want to make sure everything is sitting right before adding them. I can't see how they are sitting on the front but screen reference show there is the one large tab and 4 to 5 smaller ridges on the chest plate, although you can have less -
Some GML's (garrison membership liaison's) will allow for basic but many won't, would pay to check with your local GML. Making a belt from white canvas (or similar fabric) is pretty easy, just a case of folding a few times and sewing.

There are a few other things for a Hero, less teeth (although I converted a stunt to hero) and ears have only 3 bumps not 4. Here is a pdf showing differences between the versions https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view You could still trim off a bit more, notice in the reference below it is at the top of the peak of the ridge Plastic section of the belt can be separated

MV's ANH TK Stunt [ATA] 1st Build Thread for Centurion
gmrhodes13 replied to MaskedVengeance's topic in ANH Build Threads
I normally have some grey primer around which is extremely close to the humbrol grey, so I sand the TD tube, apply a couple of coats of the grey primer, once dry I add a coat of gloss clear, done -

Nice work, a few items you may want to address before the DO's get here, these are suggestions Anovos helmets are notorious for having too much paint on the teeth/gums, here are some references. Blaster counter appears a little low Also missing cocking handle and slot TD clips do not have rounded corners at the panel end, also screws could be closer to the ends of the brackets. The lower side rivets are too low Ab buttons appear to be the wrong color Butt plate is sticking outwards You may want to trim off the excess material from the back of the shoulder straps. You could also trim the excess material from the belt You could even out the gaps on your elbows Could you also post up the following images. Close up of sniper plate front and both sides. Good luck with approval

TK-15711 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status (AFP) (481)
gmrhodes13 replied to Quinquer's topic in Request Centurion Status
If you do need to adjust the angle of the hovi, it is easy to cut a piece of rubber tube on an angle so you get a thin wedge, place the rubber wedge behind the mic tip, you can then rotate this wedge and it will adjust the angle of the mic tip. -

Using painters tape can help too, push down on the area that lifts then while holding down wrap some painters tape around, it's amazing how much this can help. Also your thigh cover strips should stop just above the lower ridge, they don't go all the way to the end
-
I find it a lot easier to paint the black first, you can then go over any thick lines or edges with the grey A few references
-
Yes you just have to look at a few scenes in any of the newer movies to see troopers armor bending and twisting when they move, be a lovely material to troop in I would think, not as constricting as ABS hard plastic Bend that cod Nice twist in this abdomen
-
Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper. Looks like you may have a couple of things to adjust just before EIB, belt appears to be hanging off at the front Belt boxes should align with the ends of the plastic belt You may want to add a little abs paste to the gaps in the ends of your thighs and tops of shins Brow trim appears on a slight angle I'm sure we'll get a better look soon. Looking forward to seeing your application. Good luck

I only left a couple of mm's of return edge
