I would be wary of using acetone as it may melt the plastic (this is how we make ABS paste), many have had success just using tooth picks and rubbing the paint away, others have used mineral spirits and a small brush, the mineral spirits is a little more plastic friendly

You can make the belt anyway you like as long as it match the CRL reference you are good to go, that thread was an example, I personally fold and iron the fabric 4 times, add support for the holster then sew.

You may want to remove a little bit of paint, looks like there is still some on the gums. Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area

I have elastic which goes through the loop on the boot with snaps attached and snaps inside the top of the shins, I find this a little easier to put on rather than velcro on the tongue

Nice work and great build thread, you listened to feedback and took it on board. Just an FYI you need a K on that Nightfall You could add some white to the rim of your hovis tips Also watch the rear belt and TD, slightly on an angle. Nothing I can see should hold you up for basic, submit away, good luck and hope you receive approval soon.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Unfortunately a lot of sellers on EBay and Esty seem to promote their product incorrectly. TThe501st Lgeion had a base requirement for costume acceptance which we call the CRL's, for OTTK it's here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt You can also check in with your GML (garrison membership liaison) as they may have other requirements for approval and may be able to help. I think it will be worth while, I find that some 3d pieces are just too weak especially with grabby little fingers and hands,. You are essentially fixing two things, the location of the counter as well as the strength of how it and the scope is mounted, got to be better in the long run.

Personally I think the natural is a bit too cream, I would go with the white, you can fold and iron several times to make the fabric stiffer, also add a plastic section inside for the holster mounts, stops the belt from sagging when blaster is holstered This is a good thread to follow

Not a larger belly but a bad back, I use a compression belt, this may help

You could trim the curved inner section of your sniper plate

Nice work trooper, a few suggestions before the DO's get here. You may want to give your side rivets another coat of paint Belt cut corners should meet the with of the belt, your corners are inside the belt width (but this is for L3) Just double check your TD width, there does not appear to be big enough gap between your caps and control panel Thigh ammo strips rivets are too close to the corners, also needs another coat of paint Good luck with approval trooper

I would however make sure you cut all of your cover strips before using excess material for side shims, you don't want to end up with a piece too small
