Images are always helpful, with 3D printed parts I find flexing them too much will weaken them and they eventually crack, I use Gorilla super glue with a kicker spray which sets it rock hard. You could add some strength from behind, either glue a piece of plastic behind or add fiberglass matt and resin. Belt assembly Also Tony's @ukswrath FOTK build which is very well documented

It doesn't look like your silicon guards are completely stuck to the rubber gloves, they should really conform to your hand once worn. You may pass L2 but I definitely think it would be picked up at L3

Oddviking's ANH Stunt build - AM 4.5 (Centurion)
gmrhodes13 replied to OddViking327's topic in ANH Build Threads
Normally shortening the shoulder strap elastic should take care of this, you may also need to lengthen the backplate to kidney elastic if that is too tight. -
You would really have to modify armor to be able to dance, but then it wouldn't be accurate. As Rob stated Google the dance group, there are lots of youtube videos out there then compare to what our basic requirements are and you will notice a lot has been removed for the ability to dance

Shinyarmour1 AP ANH Stunt First Build
gmrhodes13 replied to Shinyarmour1's topic in ANH Build Threads
For my OCD I'd have to remove that side, add a little heat then use two popsticks or small pieces of wood just to push together BUT you have to have some experience with using heat, bit hard to hot water bath unless you are going to take the whole plate on. You may actually find if you remove that side you may very well be able to man handle that section and push it back out. I think it would be noticed if you are going for higher level approvals. Nice work though on the rest -
50/50, with a new build you can fit to your now shape, also update anything you had issues with on your original armor. Or modify your old armor, you know how it fitted and what would would be needed to reduce the size. Personally I think I'd go for a new build, "if I only knew back then what I do know"

Where, What and Whom To Avoid When Buying

I've used Devcon and JB Weld on my first order armor as some of that needed to have no flex but with original trilogy costumes I use E6000, although it takes time to dry (at least 24 hours) you have the ability of it flexing and it is easily removable, it's almost like a clear rubber. Some great other info for first time builders here -
I've not seen one in person, it's a nice looking blaster if you want a real heavy feeling blaster, I can tell you on long troops the lighter the blaster the better, especially when you are only holding it in one hand while hi fiving younglings with the other hand. On the other hand if you want an awesome display piece it has a lot of nice details.

Looks good, your clip material is a little thick but I don't know if the DO's will pick on that.

Sounds like you will be good to go then. Just on the heat gun, ABS plastic is a funny thing, it can go from slightly bending to molten mess within a blink of an eye, I do suggest if you do need to use one then get lots of practice with scrap pieces of off cuts. Mainly try hot water bath as the heat is not as intense -

For some reason you images aren't showing, nice work
-
Correct, there are no actual measurements for the game panel, if you wanted to you enlarge the image on computer to the width of a ANH TD then measure the plate but I don't think the DO's will be that picky Here's a better image
-
Forgot to mention I used the base ANH sizing for the tube and caps but went a little narrower on the center plate compared to the ANH because the screen references show a narrower gap.
-
Nice work, no excess on the gums so looking good
-
Thank you for the reference, I had found a few of your threads here and on RPF and unfortunately the images are no longer available, if you have any others please let me know

I think I'm gonna go with RS Propmasters strictly on reputation, but I have questions for those that have gone before me. 1. What's the practical difference between ABS and PVC in this application? Which is preferable? There is a thread here with info https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23424-abs-or-pvc/#:~:text=The 1.5mm ABS is,time and is ULTRA white. 2. When ordering, 'strapping pack' is optional. What is that, straps to hold the suit together? Correct 3. Full commission or self build... since it arrives in parts and pieces, how much work is really involved in finishing a self-build kit to the commisson level? I would advise to have a look at some of the RS build threads (or in fact any armor builds). If you can build a plastic model kit you can build armor https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ 4. Self-build doesn't include blaster or boots. What else is missing that I'll need? From their website "This kit contains all the plastic formed components, plus matching plastic cover/joining strips. Also included are all the components to complete the thermal detonator including the tube and metal mounting clips." Strapping, gloves, glue, material belt, paint, holster, boots, blaster, padding for helmet, neck seal, a great list of soft parts here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/47307-list-of-soft-parts-for-your-ot-tk-build/ 5. I'm looking at the ANH blaster. RS is out of stock on all three blaster styles. Is that something I can source more locally? (I'm in Nevada) Thanks for your help and advice! I don't know what may be available in Nevada, you may want to check in with your local garrison, you can find a list of them here https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php -
Looking good, some screen references just in case you hadn't seen them
