  1. We do try to steer people away from Esty and Ebay, some great armor can be found in our "vetted sellers" list in the "Getting Started" section. Some info in this thread about that maker Matt Gauthier (TE) a known recaster is the seller on that Esty post
  2. A couple of approved anovos centurion apps
  3. Here's Tony's build for comparison
  4. Looks much better
  5. Nothing better than BBB's, looking forward to seeing your progress, good luck
  6. If you want to be absolute screen accurate the hole is normally a little closer to the end/top. Also the curve cut out is not so rounded, you can see flat areas that meet the curve. You also want to check the length of the strip as some armor makers make them longer then they need to be, should stop just short of the corner sections of the thigh
  7. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks, a well build kit, nicely done
  8. Just having a quick look and there would need to be some adjustments made for Centurion. Front holes on both sides of the barrels are incorrect in details. Also hengstler counter would need to be moved further forward. By the looks of some of the pieces details it may be 3D printed as there seems to be lines on the end of the magazine and hengstler, any lines would need to be filled, sanded and painted
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the Centurion ranks trooper
  10. Nothing better than BBB's, looking forward to seeing the progress, good luck
  11. Email info in the vetted sellers section is [email protected]
  12. You don't have to use metal brackets although they are screen accurate, you can actually use snaps and elastic all around. If you do use them the bracket screws can split the plastic on the edges so adding some material behind them is a good idea for a little extra strength. Great tutorial from @ukswrath Standard system with no brackets and double snaps

  15. When ever in doubt check the Gallery Section, as well as go through recently approved Centurion threads
  16. Nice work on the strapping, it is a good idea on stress areas to use double snaps, shoulders are a good one to have a spare, I've lost two from those over the years. You may also find nylon a little restricting, if so change over to elastic as it has move give and you'll be able to bend and stretch more
  17. You can use either method both are fine all the way up to Centurion, angled corners are more screen accurate though.
  18. There is mention of WTF shin orientation in this build, further down the page Yes it's ok to have some edge showing on the shins
  19. Came out great, nice work, just watch the angle of the belt buttons a couple look a little off
  20. Just a small tweak. I'm not sure if you did it but it does help to stop your snaps popping off if you curve your belt, less strain when it is curved Clamp two pieces of wood between the belt spacing then gently push downwards

  22. Congratulations and welcome to the EI ranks trooper, a few tweaks and hopefully we will see you at centurion soon
  23. Always best to recheck the CRL's when building You may be able to still trim, just lay on top of the belt and check the width. Normally the trimmed corners are @ 10-12 mm
  24. Check out @ukswrath build thread, his belt attachment is here:
