  2. Hey thanks again everybody, I'm really glad to have made it and appreciate all of the help!
  3. Hi Mario - OK, I had my Dad help a bit with the left thigh as I didn't want to risk a Dremel in a shaky hand given how close I needed to get to the center edge. Please let me know if this is OK. Below are the additional pictures. 1. Wrist edges. This one took a few attempts during EI and we shaved it down as far as we could; hoping it's still OK for Centurion. 2. Boots from TK Boots
  4. Hi Mario - please see the attached picture of the updated mobility cuts on my thighs. Please let me know if there are any further adjustments needed. Thank you!
  5. Hi everyone! Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and worked on everything today and got suited up for a second round of pictures and updates (noted accordingly below). Rather than replace the entire first post, I’ll just put everything here again in one place in this followup post. Personal Information Name: Alex Cardenas Height: 5' 11" Weight: 185 lbs. Thermal detonator Update from Centurion Round 1: 1. Originally, in lieu of disassembling my original TD to cut down the control panel and/or remove and reinstall the clips, I instead submitted for Centurion with a spare TD unit we had that was more in line with Centurion requirements regarding the control panel positioning. Unfortunately, the 1/2” gaps and the screws were not Centurion approvable on this spare TD. So I have switched back to my original TD after I was able to safely remove the control panel, trim it, and reinstall it so that the control panel was more visible as required. 6. Thanks for the quick feedback guys and I'll get with my Dad as soon as we can to work on the adjustments. A couple of comments/questions in the meantime: 1. Regarding the spacing, apologies on the wrist/forearm, that was just a suiting issue as I had to take off and put my right glove on before we got to taking the pics and I did that one myself instead of with my Dad helping get the glove properly under the forearm. As for my legs, apologies from my DNA LOL. My legs and feet naturally point outward so only so much I can do there. 2. I'll work on getting the additional TD pics. 3. Regarding the E11 weathering, this is a rubber Hyperfirm blaster and is as it was purchased. Do I need to paint the handle/grip? My Dad was wondering if this was a new requirement as he has the same blaster and was Centurion approved (about 2 years ago). 4. I'll work on the helmet adjustments you noted. 5. Looks like when I was making the glove adjustment before the pics one of the shoulder straps shifted on me (the elastic strip sometimes tends to slip). Just a suit up issue I'll make sure is addressed 6. Another suit up issue, but good point about switching out to black velcro. Seems that the strip on that side loosened up and my Dad didn't catch it when taking the pictures (you can see the setup on the interior armor pics). 7. I'll work on gluing the box straps.
  7. Hello. Please accept my submission below, which includes notes on the corrections made from my EI submission. Personal Information Name: Alex Cardenas Height: 5' 11" Weight: 185 lbs. 8. Thank you guys for everything, I really appreciate all the help. I'm gonna try and go for Centurion before I head off to college.
  9. No problem! Please let me know if there is still anything else. Looking forward to making it in as one of the first 1000!
  10. Hi Mario - please see the new pictures below. I sanded as much as I could but I was afraid of cutting a little too much and causing damage especially since the bump on the inside comes right up to the edge. Hopefully this is enough, but if not, let me know.
  11. Thanks for the feedback everyone! Here are the additional pictures requested. If I'm still missing anything else, please let me know! 1. Closeup of helmet teeth 2. Photo of helmet "S" trim 3. Closeup of forearm wrists (with return edge removed) 4. I went ahead and trimmed off the cover strip on the back of my shins so that it stopped where you indicated.
  12. Hello! My build was done at the same time as my father (TK-72313) and uncle (TK-17671) in 2017 and built with EIB and Centurion in mind knowing that after my 2 years in the Galactic Academy were up, I would transition to the 501st. Please accept my submission for Expert Infantry. Thank you for your consideration and feedback. Personal Information Name: Alex Cardenas Height: 5' 11" Weight: 185 lbs. 13. After 2 years of trooping (as part of the Galactic Academy) alongside my father (TK-72313) and my uncle (TK-17671) in my own TK, I finally became an official member of the 501st this month! Now to get my Expert Infantry and Centurion approvals! Big thanks to my squad mate @DeathTrap for the Photoshop!
