  1. All lookin good so far
  2. LFL have a sound player on their site ---------------- A couple of sites I've found on my travels https://www.101soundboards.com/search/stormtrooper http://www.realmofdarkness.net/sb/sw-sb/ https://www.myinstants.com/search/?name=star+wars https://jayuzumi.com/star-wars-soundboards You can find the TK loop on the legion forum https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=28538&hilit=loops
  3. Never too early, great to have some items handy to move on with while waiting for glue or paint to dry
  4. Personally I'd buy a kit and not pre built if you are going up that much, the armor is made to fit your size so it would be hard to guess what size it should be, it is very hard to size up with armor

  6. I've been talking with Reece about his thread, he was happy just to have the first post updated, he has lost a lot of images and many are FB links which I thought he would still be able to access, hopefully he'll be able to retrieve some more. And I'm sure they'll be a few more, I updated a couple over the last week, some I didn't even remember posting https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21822-how-to-get-flat-pieces-of-plastic-for-builds-if-you-cant-purhase/, restored by gmrhodes13 https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23682-basic-model-builing-skills-good-enuff/, restored by gmrhodes13 https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22177-howto-flat-snap-plates/, restored by gmrhodes13 Page 9 COMPLETED
  7. While you are waiting you'll find a lot of great helping info in this thread, research is the key and remember measure twice and cut once
  8. Nice work, you will find the butt, kidney and back plates should touch together when elastic is added, but the front chest to ab may need some trial fitting to get the height right. I found adding some elastic a little longer than is required, loop through and use safety pins just to hold it in place and test for fit
  9. There are indeed, same as on the R1 armor, you can just see it in the image below
  10. Also when it comes to painting do not paint the full button, you can see from the images that there is a small area paint free just around the base
  11. Congratulations trooper once again, looking forward to seeing your L2 application
  12. Great to hear, congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  13. Great to hear you are on the mend trooper, we'll be here to assist you once you are back on your feet (or hand)
  14. There are a lot of images which look to have Facebook links which are no longer showing, if you have a copy of those they would be useful
  15. Really depends how much bigger you will be getting.
  16. It was, hopefully we'll see some Stormtroopers throwing them. Generally you need full front, back and both sides images which there isn't from that episode that is why figures are important at times. At the end of the day someone has to build a version of the costume before a CRL will go live. Some more info here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLGuide
  17. Hello and welcome aboard
  18. Nice work. I found the Humbrol 22 is too cream in color compared to the helmet/armor color so I use a general white spray paint, just spray a little into the cap, wait for it to thicken a little when drying then apply.
  19. Copy and paste your 501st legion profile link here and request stormtrooper access

  21. Personally if you are going to be adding some size to your frame I would go up in size with the armor, it's easier to trim some down if it's too big but very hard to add material if it's too small. Definitely measure in the flexed state as you do move in armor, high fives and waves are a big part of trooping
  22. Looking good
  23. Nice work, looking good
  24. That's great Reese, thank you for taking the time to update the thread
  25. If they are a little bit big you could add a gel inner, their sizing chart recommends thick socks and gel inserts ------------
