  1. Nice work, just to be a little picky and by no means a must for basic approval, although for L3 you want hand painted / or look painted decals, a couple of your tubes could be touched up as a few are a little wide or slightly off, just watch the extra paint on the top bottom corners too, toothpick is the easiest way to clean up . Should be no paint on the gums, just appears you have a touch in a few places but could just be the angle of photos. Also try to make the sides of the top curves on the vocoder match. Great job
  2. Well I called it Congratulations trooper and welcome to the TX ranks and Spec Opps
  3. Just a tip but it's good to have 2 fans, I only use one at a time as I find that's enough, any air you feel across your face just makes you think you are cooler. Having the other as a spare is great for long day troops so you can switch over if the first runs out.
  4. Looking good, hopefully it will be sturdy enough.
  5. Definitely don't want any foreign debris in your paste, can change the color and will no longer match, good call on starting a new batch. It's a weird stuff to apply, don't add too much, it will skin over very quickly so there's no real time to smooth around, less is best and you can always add a little more.
  6. Found some in Big W $5 I guess they are all pretty much the same, as long as they dry clear, are flexible and don't wash off when washed then you've got it made
  7. Nice fix, I have found with a lot of thin wall prints I've had to add an inner support, recently printed a beskar spear and the tip broke into 3 peaces just by knocking the bench.

  9. Nice work, a few other things you could adjust: You could glue some pieces of ABS/plastic behind your kidney, they will sit behind the ab plate and help hold your sides in, at present you can see a large opening. Shoulder straps are sitting up on the back plate, you could heat and bend so they sit flush, can't see from the images if you have elastic there but that could help if you havne't You could also add a little white to the rim of you Hovi's (mic tips) And also match the outer curves on your vocoder, the one on the right is quite a bit lower Good luck and hope to see you approved soon
  10. Info you will find here https://www.501st.com/members/join_form.php.
  11. Hello and welcome aboard, there are lots of other build threads to follow, this one from Tony is full of detail, its Anovos but it will be similar When in doubt ask, also make sure you measure twice and cut once. You can refer to the Gallery sections, ANH is here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/ Good luck with the build.
  12. There is a build thread here Another in this thread

  14. Legion command issue the TKID's once your GML sends in the paperwork so it could be an issue there, but no harm contacting your GML to check that everything was completed at their end Hope to see you with numbers soon.
  15. Getting to the exciting stage, I hate prep work
  16. Hi there I presume you sent your application through your GML (garrison membership liaison) of the UKG, they have a little different approach to the approval process compared to other garrisons, it can take a little longer for the process to be completed. If concerned check in with your GML [email protected] or [email protected] or through the UKG garrison.
  17. Correct, its just the same grey, same as the TD
  18. Most wouldn't even notice a difference there once it's painted, if you are really concerned you could check with your GML (garrison membership liaison) first just to get their opinion. As a GML I would let it pass for basic approval.
  19. Had a member tell me today they ran some super glue along the edge and that did the trick for them
  20. Good luck with approval, although I doubt you'll need it
  21. Had this image handy of my TFU forearms
  22. I just used some cheap furniture foam, yellow type, it's not too hard and not too soft, allows for some flex/movement

  24. You generally don't use velcro there they are just glued together. You want them to fit your arms without being too loose or too tight, I actually have some foam inside mine as if I trimmed them to match my skinny arms they would have looked too small.
