  1. Having the TD staps run under the back can help hold it in better. Also note your butt plate is being pushed backward. TD should come down a bit more as it sits just on top of the belt I left about the same return edge on the chest, you can see here how far it sits out, albeit there are two pieces and not much return edge. Cod is looking fine
  2. Looks amazing, love the chrome finish. I would try the Phasma FB group for info
  3. I bit the bullet with an earlier version 3 lite which wasn't as expensive as the current model, it's for my mando jetpack and with dispersers tips and lights it's quite good. I've seen people use vapes but they just don't seem to give enough smoke, I looked into purchasing a vape, remote, battery pack and air motor and by time that added up the Microfogger really wasn't that much more expensive. Heaps if videos on YouTube using vapes if you want to pursue one of those
  4. Google drive link to TK chatter: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14vAaXe7vzNsBYuzQy8Ro2yc0sjnb5k7S?usp=sharing
  5. You have to make sure you check in to the forum at least once during a census year. Info on detachment affiliation here
  6. Hello and welcome aboard, documenting your build is a great way of getting feedback and advice, you could post a build thread in this area https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ Good luck with the build
  7. Coming along nicely
  8. Normally it is a case of adding larger cover strips to the rear, this would open up the thighs allowing them to come upwards. I would however wait until you have all the armor strapped and on to see what the thigh gap would be then.
  9. That is looking much better and straighter, well done
  10. Your shins should sit a lot lower. You could perhaps use some heat to open them a little more OR try larger cover strips on the rear which will definitely give you more room Here's a comparison with another AP, note how much room around the knees there is. Definitely don't go cutting mobility cuts until you are wearing all of the armor, I've seen a few that trim them then are left with huge gaps on the back as they really weren't needed
  11. Hello and welcome to the forum, congratulations on your costume approval, you can request higher access here
  12. Some more information. The character is part of Task Force 99, Seargent Kreel was seen as a specialist so this character is homed under Special Opps, I would think the trooper you are referring to would also go to Spec Ops Sergeant Kreel, designated Agent 5241, was an undercover stormtrooper and SCAR trooper of the Galactic Empire, serving in the 501st Legion under the direct command of Darth Vader. Kreel was given command of an elite group of SCAR troopers, designated Task Force 99 Spec Ops also home Task Force 99: Cav https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Task_Force_99:_Cav More references of your character "Shrap" (rear trooper in first image) https://comicvine.gamespot.com/shrap/4005-162019/ Someone was building some of these troopers, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100061258101660
  13. Would be entirely up to your GML as they look after base approval. My only issue would be if you could see a join if you have to lengthen
  14. Looking good, I would however bring up your biceps a little more as you can just see the tops and should be covered by the shoulder bells. There's something a little wrong with your thighs, normally you only have one step, not on both thighs like you have Comparision RS References Also there is a big gap between the cod/abdomen and top of the thighs, you may want to try to reduce this gap, either pull up the thighs or try to bring the abdomen/cod down
  15. This can happen when you don't log into the forum, you need to do so every year between census to census. You could request your GML updates your affiliation, then this should be updated prior to the next elections as the LWM's have an automated process. Mor info here
  16. I doubt it will be an issue, you end up with scuffs, marks, scratches over the years, even with a good polish some can remain
  17. More information here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLGuide
  18. That's a link to your 501st forum profile, the link you need is your legion membership profile, try this one https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=36924
  19. Hello and welcome aboard, this informative thread should help you on your way
  20. A cheap option is wrapping coat hanger round a broom stick
  21. Looks pretty sweet. I'm sure the @Deployment Officer Team will chime in if they see any issues for L3
  22. Contact Greg directly via private message, he has said previously he's happy to share his files for those who have purchased Nico's files.
  23. That's your 501st forum profile, not legion membership, try this one https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=25887
  24. Also the angled ends of your plastic belt look a little large, you may want to trim the ends. For Level 3, the corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.
