  1. Hello! TK-41595 from the New England Garrison, requesting 501st access. Thank you! https://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=39869&costumeID=124
  2. Awesome! Thanks! I made a contraption that should mark about .5-.6 of an inch line to trim. I may trim slightly less than that but it should be a good guide. Just wanted to check to see if these pencil line look alright.
  3. Awesome! I’ll make sure to make marks with a pencil before proceeding. When it comes to trimming the back of the thigh near the but should I do that same thing?
  4. Just wondering if other troopers on the shorter side who have the RS kit had issues with bending their legs due to the thighs. Should I trim more off the top to fit me better? Will this help the thighs and shins fit better? Thank you! I can only bent my leg to about this point. ignore shin popping undone have to fix that
  5. Just fitted again with the belt almost complete (just waiting for drop boxes and thermal detonator to finish glueing). Other than that I think the body armor is almost set other than a few minor things .
  6. Finished strapping the main body parts and there is definitely a gap between the kidney and ab plate, but I’m okay with it for basic approval for now. Other than that things seem to fit pretty well.
  7. Did some work with strapping and the front and back halves of the body are fully strapped now. I just need to add the straps from the chest plate to the back plate (over the shoulders) and the strapping from the kidney to ab plate. Just checking to see if this looks good so far! It fits well, but was wondering if some pieces may be too close or far from each other? After this it’s on so strapping the limbs. I was also wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a harness to connect the arms and thigh armor to? Thank you!
  8. Did some trial and error with the snaps and elastic until I finally found something that seems to work well! So far I just glued the butt plate to the kidney plate but it seems to be working well so far. I should be able to attach the rest of the elastics and snaps to the arms very soon!
  9. I have a quick question, as I make straps and snaps and prepare to glue them on the armor. I have noticed people sometimes put a spare piece of ABS in between the straps and the actual armor when glueing or glue the snaps to the spare piece of ABS all together. Is there a benefit to doing this or is it just as good to glue the strap straight on to the armor itself? Thanks!
  10. Finished the blaster completely and glued on the scope and hengsler counter. Just wanted to check that the scope and hengsler counter look like they are in the right place. Thanks!
  11. Finished glueing the sniper knee. Also double checking that it’s okay to cut out the back of the shins like so for mobility?
  12. Got an Imperial Supply Drop E-11 a few weeks ago and got a few good coats of black on the blaster and started adding other paint details and weathering today. I avoided adding any metallic weathering on the grips and T-rails, weathered with bronze for the scope, but was wondering if I should weather the Hengsler counter with any paint or not? Thanks!
  13. Hey guys. Just had a quick question, how many bumps on the shoulder strap should be glued to the chest plate? Thanks!
