  1. Hello and welcome to the forum, here is a helpful thread full of information will help you on your journey
  2. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the Espert Infantry ranks and the Expert Infantry Honor Gallery Looking forward to seeing you at Centurion Also I just noticed your forearms appear to have velcro on them, these are normally glued shut. DO's may comment on this in your Centurion application (if you apply, which you should )
  3. He must have edited it out by accident, as I download a copy for the EI honor gallery, oh just noticed it's in his Imgur link at the top
  4. Looking good, just looks like some minor tweaks, a very clean build. A little hard to see details in photos as they are quite small: PHOTO GUIDELINES Photo size- At least 800 X 600 (preferably 1280 X 960) You could adjust the gap between your forearms and biceps, this would close the gap at the wrists and give you more elbow movement Belt could come up a little more "The top of the ABS belt shall sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical ab button panels. A slight overlap is suggested, but not required." Shins could sit a little lower on the boots, or place some attachment inside the boots so the neck doesn't come out when bending. You could rotate the detonator a little more so the O detail can be seen
  5. Forum only allows a certain amount of photos to be attached to your post, most of us use a free online image host Imgur, upload there then copy your links across into your post.
  6. My pleasure, we are here to help. FYI locally customs have become tighter in regards to importation of weapons, even props, there is a specific form you must fill out, speak with Jason "Tantaris" on our forum, he will be able to fill you in. Just to expand on the use of blasters, locally we don't have issues carrying blasters in public (even having photos with police while holding a blaster ) There are only a few events we can't take blasters too, some LFL events, hospitals, Bricktober, Christmas Pageant and at event hosts request. LFL/Disney at times can request we don't carry blasters depending on certain situations around the globe. Some countries and even some states (ie: Tasmania) can't carry a blaster in public and some members have been raided, luckily we don't have that restriction here in the west, but even for those countries which are restricted they still need a blaster for L2 and L3 as these are optional requirements to this detachment. At the request of legion PR and a preference from LFL/Disney we don't take photos pointing blasters at cameras pointing at people (capture pose)
  7. Yes as you need L2 approval before applying for L3, additional elements are required at each level. A blaster is required for EIB and Centurion under this detachment. It's not optional. The Weapons Policy only applies to basic level. The blaster is only optional for basic level approval, this covers all countries. Conversation on optional requirements here
  8. Hello and welcome to the forum, for Sandtroopers you would be better served at MEPD home of Sandies For base armor/helmet we have an area that covers those here Everything else you may need Stormtrooper can be found here Research is the key to this hobby, good hunting
  9. You can use a real or replica weapon for L2 approval, note L2 is not issued at base costume approval it is part of detachment levels, you can apply for L2 Expert Infantry once approved with a Stormtrooper costume. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Blaster shall be based on a real or replica S&T Sterling L2A1 AEG Airsoft Gun 3D print files can also be used, Bryan one of our members kindly shared his files free of charge, you can find those here FYI you don't need a blaster for base costume approval, blasters are compulsory for L2 and above
  10. One more TFA - no plate Note the sling mount https://www.icollector.com/Star-Wars-Episode-VII-The-Force-Awakens-2015-First-Order-Stormtrooper-Sonn-Blas-F-11D-Blaster_i47351834 8,500.00USD
  11. Some nice details on this one, also has the additional plate https://www.liveauctionworld.com/Star-Wars-Episode-VII-The-Force-Awakens-2015-First-Order-Stormtrooper-Sonn-Blas-F-11D-Blaster_i45261393 10,750.00USD
  12. One of many version F-11D's that have come up for auction, first time I've noticed the additional plate. Cocking lever not present. This weapon may have been around for a while, has all the hallmarks of a TFA F-11D full rim end cap ,angular rear sight and no holes in top of barrel. It may have needed the additions plate for strength, there are mounting screws just under the front trigger guard. This particular (or similar) version can be seen in a few places TROS Standees (with additional picatinny rail/light mount) TROS (without picatinny rail/light mount) $14,8000 Hero Prop Auction https://heroprop.com/product/star-wars-episode-vii-the-force-awakens-screen-used-first-order-blaster-rifle/ TFA with plate (more images here)
  13. You could try some tighter strapping, it may help. A small gap between abdomen and kidney is allowable for basic and L2, not until you get to L3 that it becomes an issue OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor.
  14. Really depends how busy your GML is as well as legion command as they have to do some paperwork that can take a few days. Anything longer than a week I would contact your GML once again.
  15. Once again congratulations trooper and welcome to the FOTK ranks
  16. Great to see you out and about, looking forward to seeing those pre approval pics
  17. Nice work, looks like your shoulder straps may be sitting high at the back, right one is really high Good luck with approval
  18. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the FOTK ranks
  19. The Aker amp has a power line from the microphone jack which returns through to the Icomm which recharges the unit, most other cheaper version amps do not. Hopefully someone else with chime in about other amp usage. "The Icomm battery takes some power from the Aker to remain charged, it has an active connection on the amp jack, note not all types of amplifiers have this that is why they specify using an Aker amp with the Icomm unit." About this item Self contained protected box that gets it power from the VoiceBooster Voice Amplifier I personally have not tried a different amp with the Icomm but I would think there should be no issues apart from the charging, you could use an external battery for charging which I do have on my TK A nice little box to hold it all FYI you can request 501st access here
  20. Nice work, if you felt like sharing your files you can do so here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/202-3d-file-depository/
  21. Nice work trooper If you use the "direct link" option, or even right click on your image in Imgur you will be able to post it directly to your post
  22. Can be as simple as right click on the image in Imgur, select copy then paste into your thread, or use the "Direct Link" option
  23. Great work. I don't think there has been a 3D print project yet that I haven't had to make an adjustment or two to them, all a learning experience. Now get stuck into that AM kit, it's getting lonely sitting in that box
