  1. This was announced a couple of weeks ago, but I don't recall seeing it here: https://hasbropulse.com/pages/selfie-series I know some of us have gotten custom backing-boards and made custom figures, and now you can get a professionally made Black Series Stormtrooper figure of yourself. Available today in the U.S. (no dates on availability elsewhere unfortunately).

  5. Hi Jonatan, and THANKS for your submission for ANH Hero EI! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. -Well Jonatan, as we mentioned in the other request, the screws on the ears should ideally align with the rear angle of the trap above them, and the bottom should angle back a little bit more. The right ear could be improved. The left ear is perfect. Reference images -The brow trim is a little high for a Hero(as a general rule, Stunt TKs' trim sits higher, as opposed to Hero). If you can lower it a bit, that would be great. Reference images -Some dressing issues here. As we also told you, troopers who are tall have this problem with their forearms. Your biceps are well positioned, and cannot be lowered more. Again, I would suggest lowering your forearms a little more so that they are a little closer to the handguards. Reference images -Your thighs are a bit low and rotated(also both shins). Remember: "Always check that the armor is perfectly aligned and symmetrical on both sides"(If you don't have a mirror, don't be afraid to ask someone for help). Reference images Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. -It seems that the belt(canvas), is too wide. Maybe if you move the plastic down a little, you can align both correctly. Reference images Well Jonatan, as you can see, you are 5 minutes away from your 2nd Centurion. Congratulations!

  8. Wow Gerald! Your armor is insane! The fitment is like how your colleague Ace Ventura parks his car - lllllllllllike a glove!!! The kidney and ab join on both sides, the brow trim cut at an angle, TD position! EVERYTHING... wow! The only thing I could see was the HOVI mic tips seem to be the iComm tips, is that true? Also a smudge of return edge on the forearms! That's ALL I could see whatsoever! Hello Centurion after this easy peasy!

  10. @gmrhodes13I believe I glued the sniper knee on the wrong leg, by accident. Looks like I’ll be taking it off and switching it.

  11. Thanks Glen. Updated. I think had an older list that didn’t have those items on it.

  12. You've convinced me to Scotchgard. I hope the finger gets better quick. Now for updating the pack build. Here's my completed pack just after I got it all screwed together. I used hot glue on the various items to get them temporarily in the correct spots and then used self tapping screws from behind. I used the same slate grey paint on the pack that I used on my thermal detonator. It's a decent medium grey that seems to match the game nicely. And it made my inner OCD happy to use the same color of paint on another Imperial weapon. Here's the radio box showing off its hinges. Since the box came with it, I lined the lid with rubber weatherstrip (the light colored piping) before closing it up. I may add some clasps to the side later. Round wipe bottle - yuck. Before I did the padding, I wanted to see how the pack and OII fit together. Probably I should have done this much sooner, but better late than never. With just the circle cut out, the GarageBoss fits the TK back plate perfectly. Shockingly perfect. Here's my protective padding. It's toolbox liner. It should work very well for this and keep scratches at bay. The one downside is that it likes to remove the paint from my bin top. ... so, to protect the bin, I grabbed some extra jersey material left over from making a Jawa hood and begged my wife to sew some velcro to it. Velcro FTW! Also less squeaks when carrying it on my back.

  13. GAH! I did forget to weather the pauldron. Gonna go do that literally now. thanks for the kind words y'all!!! Caleb: If you use the eye shadow weathering technique the boots clean right up. I dirtied the heck out of mine when I did a desert shoot and they wiped clean with some soap. No lasting effects. Though I still looked shiny compared to my Sandy buddy.

  14. I jumped ahead with the build again. Sorry. I'll post the rest of my pack build pix in the near future. But I suited up for basic approval today!!!! I flat out hate the standard wipe bottle. I just hate it. I'm hoping to use the Meguiar's oval wipe bottle for my whole approval through centurion. I hope. It's heavy. It's hot. It's clunky. I LOVE IT. I have a week of LFL troops ahead or I'd be weathering this and going for Centurion. I need to be clean to still troop my ANH Stunt for the Balloon Fiesta events though...

  21. In my case, after the first crack , I had to reinforce that area with a piece of ABS . Since that, I have put on the armor several times with no problems. (always taking care when attaching that section)

  22. That may be as well. Certainly something entitled about younger people today. I call it the curse of the app, e.g. they think they just press and app and things magically take care of themselves without any effort. This is the generation after all that gets trophies for participation...

  23. The only thing I can think of is laziness or they are just not smart enough to go through the whole process. I practically build the whole kit for them, take them to buy the elastic and show them links to buy boots, gloves, neckseals,, holster and canvas belt. I just think our society wants you to do everything for them or they won't even try it themselves.
