  2. I use snaps on the arms in case I need to swap the elastic out as it can stretch over time. Common setup below:

  3. Things are still moving along at Diversity Props. They needed to redo a few molds since some details didn't come through. They are hoping to pull this Thursday. Here are some recent pictures of the molds they have.

  14. Right, after my EIB application was successful, it is now time to prepare the armor for Centurion Thank the Emperor lots of FISD members pointed out things that I could change to improve the overall look and wearability of the armor as well as things that I will have to change for Centurion. Well, time to get started! I'm not sure how fast I can put up progress (or result) pictures, but I'll do my best and get going!

  17. I use ukswrath’s system with an Anker USB power supply and still have quite a bit of room in my bucket, and I have a big head.

  19. Hi all, Well, I put the hot water on and did some removal of some return edges and I think I have some pretty good results. I was able to narrow the gap down to around 1/2" between the back and kidney plates. In this picture the shoulder tabs are pretty much sticking straight up. I'll reshape them into a form-fitting curve, my only concern is the neck hollow between the shoulder tabs. I'm thinking this might need some shimming? Not the best picture to show the position of the backplate in relation to the chest plate. My helper/photographer was short! I think i'm going to install the strapping and get some better pics with more of the suit together. I think I'm on the right path. Let me know what you all think. Many thanks!!!

  20. I use a two fan system from Henry. Seems to work well. 2 fans connected to one power source and its ran off a lipstick power bank that hides in the helmet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. I have two squirrel (blower) fans, connected to separate battery packs and switches, they are aimed to blow air across the lens, you do feel a little on your face too. There are kits out there ukswrath has a nice one here. I made my own system as I'm cheap

  23. Also , just to add on. the USB batteries last much much longer then regular batteries will. Mine has never ran out when fully charged ahead of time. It's ran for up to 5 hrs pretty much continously. And it is all contained within your helmet, so it doesn't become an issue at all. You charge it up the night before you troop then just turn it on and forget about it, it works. No replacing batteries during a troop or worse not being able to.
