  1. You said it! Lame-o artwork. I agree. It would have been awesome to have artwork that showcased more characters or scenes from the saga.
  2. heat guns are an invaluable tool
  3. Good find. I've been wanting to pick another one of these up.
  4. Not a fan of the material? I loved my hyperfirm and would love to have one of these models some day. I've had an E-11, DC-15S & T-21. Super light weight. Super detailing. Excellent for trooping. I never got nervous when kids wanted to hold the blaster for a pic. I just sold my E-11 this week
  5. great job. Well done with the sight rail too.
  6. My observation is that people who have AM/FX armor are the ones getting different make helmets, mostly for screen accuracy purposes. Also, troopers like to match up ABS armor with ABS helmets or HIPS armor with HIPS helmets.
  7. Absolutely. I got my EIB with my hyperfirm.
  8. That's a piece of art. Great looking blaster.
  9. OMG! That was hilarious!
  10. Awesome pictures. I love the weathering. You're right, it gets dirty out there in the forest too.
  11. Great job. Are those some Legos greeblies on top?
  12. Thanks Terrell I got the HIPS helmet I ordered today. Now I'll have to order an ABS one
  13. how big of a shim are you working with? The rivets should be aligned together as seen in reference shots. So then down along your ab piece and then down along the shim you add. Pics help too so we can assist you better
  14. Which version are you looking for? ANH? ESB?
  15. Mmmm. I too am not a fan of the clanking plastic drop boxes as you walk. Seems like a great idea.
  16. Cinemastery Studios I stumbled across this site because they're selling one of their blaster builds on ebay. Anyone familiar with their work or know who these builders are? They make DC-15s, DL-44 & RT-97C (MG-15) blasters.
  17. ---- It seems a lot of people building AP kits ask this question A LOT. Does AP not include a spare sheet of plastic with his kits that lists the sizes of the finishing strips? I like how ATA gives that helpful information with his kits.
  18. Could you take a picture with the belt on? It will look better once the belt is on and it will bring in the areas of the kidneys that appear to be flaring out.
  19. I ordered mine two weeks ago. I can't wait to get it. I finally have embraced the revolution of "e-readers". As a musician I'm looking forward to playing around with the app Garageband.
  20. FYI, doopy doos sells kits on ebay. I've bought twice from them. Good quality, fast shipping.
  21. One one of my sets of armor I have elastic strips WITH velcro connecting the thighs. Depending on your undersuit material, velcro could fray or damage it.
  22. Mine are rounded too. "Safety first" No one likes to get poked by sharp armor
  23. Yeah, I chopped close to three inches off my first FX shoulders. Maybe a little too much but they were HUGE. They practically covered my entire arm, reaching my elbows. I ended up replacing the elbows, chest & back with TE lineage armor.
