  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/STORMTROOPER-E-11-COMPLETE-ANH-E-11-BLASTER-KIT-OFFER-/290689837444?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item43ae76e984 this whole kit is better than a Hasbro conversion
  2. Its good for 501st memebership. To pass EIB there needs to be modification to the bottom row of t tracks "If using the Hasbro E11 toy blaster and you cover all the rows of holes, the blaster will have 7 T-tracks total. But, if you want to have the correct number of T-tracks (6 total) with the lower row of open vent holes on the magazine housing side, then you shall cover the pre-existing rows of holes with T-tracks, and grind off the lower integrated T-track on the magazine housing side and drill a new row of holes in its place. " Overpriced for a basic Hasbro conversion in my opinion.
  3. I have an ATA helmet and I can easily wear my glasses in them. I don't have a large head though. I think I'm "normal" I wear a size 7 1/8 ball cap.
  4. One of the newest members of our garrison, Central California, is a lady TK. She has AP armor. I see you're in Tracy. I think its on the border of being either with the Golden Gate Garrison or Central California Garrison. You're welcome to stop by our forums and introduce youself if you haven't already. We're on facebook too if you happen to be on there. http://centralcaliforniagarrison.com/ One of the best ways to learn about armor is first hand examination. Meet your local troopers and learn from them We are here.
  5. Yeah, I'll save (whats left) of the hero ears I have and do some surgery and attach the bumps to another set of ears.
  6. I ordered some hero ears from John for the hero ANH helmet I was planning on doing with my TMC armor. Unfortunately I goofed up and trimmed too much. Looks like this build will end up a stunt. The plastic of the hero ears was cream white and the helmet was bright white. The ears would have stuck out like a sore thumb without repainting them to match the helmet. My question is what other options are there for hero ears besides John? For my next helmet build I was thinking of salvaging the three bumps from John's ears and combining them with another set of ears ( I have two other sets sitting in my garage), would that work?
  7. How about a Hyperfirm?

If possible, seek assistance first hand from a local fellow 501st member who has a set of armor. We have an attache 'program' here on this detachment. That's what their main purpose is to do. Building your armor will take less time when you know what you're goal is and how to accomplish it.
  9. Wha whooo! Congrats Woodchuck
  10. This is great! I was just looking at the ANH reference pics and noticed the detail on Han's detonator end caps. These pieces should be required for Centurion

  13. Is there a difference in the two sets of ears it came with?
  14. What is an ANHv2 helmet?
  15. Its like where the chest box for the kids' Vader voice helmet hangs.
  16. I read most of us are using 1/4"
  17. looks good so far. I guess you could trim the length of the forearms a bit. I'm the same height and weight as you. I love the ATA kit. I want another one soon, an ABS one.
  18. I think this person used to sell under the name sitharmor. I've bought gloves off of them (if its the same person that is) in the past. I started my journey into the 501st with a set of FX armor too. Fast shipping, good products.
  19. Mine didn't come with a tube. There really isn't a need for him to send one. I made mine from an ABS pipe I picked up from Home Depot. I needed to taper the ends to fit the caps but it worked out well.
  20. I saw this on AOTS right now. A father captures his son's reaction to the end of ESB.
